Wasn’t it Bath who sent a third string to Saracens two weekends ago?

    Yes

Mind I can’t believe Bath don’t have Elliot Stooke playing for them. I saw Bath Quinn around a month ago and Stooke is a mountain of a man

Beautiful try by Jamie Roberts for Bath

Toulouse seem to be lacking intensity today. Lots of players jogging back to the line.

    Toulouse look poor.

Of course next week they'll play like the All Blacks.

They look like a typical French team on the road. Not interested

Strange that its on Virgin One (TV3) and Channel 4 as well as BT.

Looks like they’ve softened up Toulouse.
Kaino fell off Priestland embarrassingly, Heaslip reluctant to say anything bad about “Jerome”.

17-7 to Bath now. Toulouse are putting in a typical French away performance unless they can perk themselves up

Don’t think there was a clear release there by Bath.

Nice to see the team marched back 10 though.

Kolbe is incredible. He just makes space where there wasn't any. Unbelievable footwork.

Love watching Cheslin Kolbe, remember him playing sevens.

BT commentary is gas, keep repeating "that wouldn't happen in the Gallagher Premiership", "that would have at least gone to the TMO in the Gallagher Premiership".

That hit looked fine, no camera angle to tell otherwise, rises up after contact.

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,300 ✭✭✭✭razorblunt

Dr Roberts knocked out again? Don’t think I’d be rushing to see him when he’s practicing.

Robert shoulder caught Kaino on the chin too.
    Nothing in that for me.

That’s a grand tackle from Kaino. Probably wouldn’t teach it but it’s not high. Never a yellow.

Ref saw it from other side. Tv didn't show the same angle tho.

Harsh yellow, and the referee even admitted that he doesn't know where the point of contact was.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,599 ✭✭✭ScrubsfanChris

A yellow for hitting someone in the chest?

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,811 ✭✭✭Tigerandahalf

Did the ref say he didn't tackle below the nipple line? Is that rule in?

It certainly wasn't high under old rules.

How is the nipple line enforcable given some of the droopy moobs some of the props are walking around with these days?

I guess its a moving target at best...

Healy is a pain in the arse to listen to. You can see why players would have given him a hiding.

Better commentary and analysis on Virgin One.

  • Registered Users Posts: 22,292 ✭✭✭✭Akrasia

So Kano gets a yellow when it wasn't, and another Toulouse player gets away scot free for a red card clearout in the ruck.

He's gonna be cited, but the referee and his TMOs should definitely have reviewed that

Can’t believe Toulouse are still in this game. Bath look very average at home. Wouldn’t be surprised if Toulouse send their seconds to the Leinster home game

  • Registered Users Posts: 22,292 ✭✭✭✭Akrasia

I can see Leinster getting another clean sheet in the group stages this year. There is nothing for them to be afraid of (except Kolbe)

Most probably if they go on and win this one. Three home wins (which you always target) and one away win is usually enough to qualify.

Look at how poor Bath's defence is around the breakdown, Leinster will be licking their lips at this display.

Toulouse look decent when they want to.
