Plants and gardening really make me TH, and I made it to the garden center today ! Had 50 euros to spend, and that got me a lot of stuff.

And also TH my health is starting to get better with medication, and I can do a lot more than I did last year.

There is a symphony playing outside and is filling the room with music. A song thrush plays lead with harmony from a blackbird, wren, and robin.

I swear I think I am a millionaire sometimes! Went for coffee with my 2 friends, we booked a trip to Liverpool for August. Then we went to boots and I spent 50 euro on makeup. Then to the shop my sister works in and I bought a whole new outfit for the weekend. I'll regret it when I have no money but I'm happy right now!

Getting the dreaded smear test out of the way for another 3 years please God.
A walk on the Greenway on the lovely day that it was and taking a photo of Flahavan's factory for the teenager who announced earlier in surprise today that Flahavan's flapjacks are made in Waterford. A born and bred blaa , I wonder what I've reared at times :)

Im sticking to a workout plan for the last few months.
I was wrecked this evening after work but I forced myself to train.

Glad I did because now I feel like this:

A couple sitting a few rows in front of me got engaged while Ed Sheeran was playing ‘thinking out loud’ tonight at his concert.
I know it’s a really cheesy song but I actually cried it was so lovely to see two people so happy and in love. It was lovely.

Happy that early work is done and all are settled, fed, asleep... Was out with the dog and the bird song is deafening. Especially the cuckoo.. Happy a day ahead..

We are at the foot of a "mountain" (it's really a hill, like around 500m), but we're often at the limit of the fog or close to it. (190 meters up).

So there's fog over the valley today, and when I stepped outside to let the dog out, I was in a misty space where to my left it was all foggy(valley), and to my right (mountain) there was a lovely vignetted image of the mountain in glorious sunshine and high definition, with a pod of blue sky above.

Looks like a great day of slow paced gardening ahead :)

Aren't they an adorable bird? We have 8 regulars at the feeders here. I always enjoy seeing them.

TH to have got so much done in the past three hours, that I hadn't expected. House hoovered and dusted, cars washed, windows cleaned and fire set. One of those days when you fly through stuff.

Not trying to out-trump anyone, but we have 21 goldfinches at the bird table back home last time I was there.

5-6 years ago they were a rare sight, now it is full of them.

Very relaxing just looking out at them.

Happy that I have managed so much housework today; had planned gardening but a bitter wind out there... Washing sorted too.. floors mopped..

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 71,799 ✭✭✭✭Ted_YNWA

Was hanging out some washing earlier. There was a sparrow hopping along the gutter having a great chat with me.

The simple man that I am, I present to you the simple orange.

Look how inviting that looks on a day like today. Yes it takes a bit of foreplay to get inside but it's so worth it once you do.

I'm just laughing here 'cos I've just written about Oranges in other Thread! It certainly does look very inviting though doesn't it. Dunno is that a Mandarin or a big Orange?! Mandarins are hard enough to get into. Big Oranges are worse!

I saw that! Our fondness of the citrus family has bonded us forever.

She's a big'un alright. You need to be slick with a knife to break into one of those at a reasonable pace.
