Yeah we're in the sweet spot for streamers again just like the last Easterly. 7cm measured on the car. Another heavy shower just beginning.

The snow cover is extremely uneven, more uneven than last time. Some parts of the road have 10cm while literally fI've centimetres away from there there is 2cm.

People only waking up now and having said that we'd get none are in for a shock when they look out.
Pelting it down here in Wexford.

Who are these people who wake up at 9.30? ;)

Whiteout again in Dublin 5 with graupel in the mix, which is doing a good job at sticking.

Edit: The accumulation rate is shocking (good)!! Near 0 visibility too.

East Meath again getting an underwhelming amount of sticking snow. Its nearly blizzard outside but it’s not really sticking. Elements of the ground are actually wet. I know the IOM shadow effects the amount of snow we get but why is it not cold enough for the snow to properly stick?

Anyone been on the roads? Are they bad? We’ve visitors due today from the north. :(

    M1 and m50 specifically

9 am depths. Casement 3 cm, Dublin Airport 2 cm.

A couple of 20+ depths in England, both stations above 200 m amsl.

Yeah I'd agree with this, more extreme drifting happening for whatever reason with this lot, it's near bare in places and inches thick very close by.

Was about to say back to light stuff again here but before I've finished typing it's back to a complete blizzard.
