Brilliant run, for a second I thought he was going to get involved.

Deserves every credit. Great performance looked a threat going into the straight. Fine season.

Credit for Mick Jazz?? There are people on here who won't even give credit to a double Champion Hurdle winner!!

Put e/w on Melon there a little over an hour ago at 16/1...odds changed significantly after that. Glad I went with the e/w anyway. 3 out of 3 for me today, and already in profit for what I put on between today and tomorrow - so whatever happens tomorrow is a bonus now.

All kidding aside he ran a cracker and has spent most of the season being used as a stick to beat other horses form with. He's a little star.

Just proves buvear dair is no superstar but we knew that already, you don't get annihilated in a supreme and be anything special

He's a superstar, double champion hurdle winner. He lost in the supreme to a monster in Altior ffs while he was an immature horse learning his trade.

    Lol what a stupid comment.

Back to back champion hurdler and unbeaten in 10.
He's a monster who will now get the credit he deserves.

Melon ran a cracker. Ground and pace suited him like I suspected it might.

Seems to be a gamble now on Rathvinden in the 4.50.

A lot of doubters in Melon including myself but he showed some fight there. On a side note yorkhill is gone at the game all together

And beaten comfortably by min in the same race and just beat the 160 rated melon a neck, its arguably the worst champion hurdle in years

Jury Duty and Testify e/w doubles at 53/1 on Bet365. Long shot but sure anything could happen!

BD won that handy enough. Run that race 10 times and he wins it 10 times. Serious animal. Didn't give him the credit.

People come out with this beauty every year. Its the worst "Insert race name here" in years when the result doesnt go the way they saw it:rolleyes:. The best horse won. The ground was hardly ideal and he still ground it out.

He is the first horse to win back to back champion hurdles in 10+ years. Who was the last Hardy Eustace? Sher they were **** races to at the time

Seeing as he is persisting let's emphasise how ridiculous this comment is.

Think of the beaten horses in the Supreme over the years who have won Champion Hurdles, Gold Cups, Champion Chases and so many more top drawer races.

    Best Mate says hello.

Definitely the most idiotic statement in a long time on this forum.

Apples Jade looks an absolute picture there, will be stunned if she's beat. Just sorry my a/p for the champion didn't get a run.

  • Registered Users Posts: 13,023 ✭✭✭✭Joe_ Public

Wasn't it jockey error cost Best Mate his supreme? Half way to the car park into the straight and only failed to peg Sausilito Bay on the line.

My point is exactly what I said. Thought that was obvious.

You said you don't get annihilated in a supreme and be anything special.

That is tripe and I gave examples.

    How about Jezki and Binocular.
