Bright sunny start in Kildare and feeling warm

was expecting a dark and damp morning, instead it's warm, dry and mostly sunny with a temperature a very pleasant 20C.

An amazing day considering it was expected to be a damp and drizzly start to the day, 22.7c and LONG sunny spells for a change!
That cold front is clearly making slower progress than expected.

Heavy low cloud and you can feel being in a warm humid airmass here in Tralee. Just a bit of mist and a few drops.

After a nice warm morning with a good bit of sunshine there's some light rain/drizzle just now here in Glasnevin. It's still 20.6C after an earlier high of 21.8C. There's still some sunny spells.

Dull and overcast again in Castlebar, dry so far but that looks about to change, it got quite breezy for a time late last night with some brief heavy showers.

a few downpours here over the past hour, plenty of surface water. Still feeling warm, temperature currently 22C.

It's nice and sunny here now with a lot of cloud about. The rain we had this morning was very light and there's no evidence of it now. It's currently 23.9C.

Down to 14c already at Claremorris.
5mm fell in only a few minutes here

and the temp has fallen from 24c to 20c.

Turned out a better day then expected here in North Dublin. Out from early this morning in Newbridge House Donabate as rain forecast + trying to get out before it. It was extremely windy but warm especially when sun came out. Just home then before the rain came. Great when you beat the rain!
