    that was a fake.

Heard that the price for the 49ers not doing Hard Knocks would be to have to play in one of the international games, possibly against the Rams in Mexico.

Was it reported 49ers didn't want to be on hard knocks,

On the international series, seen a tweet on Tuesday night chargers where to play the Bengals in London, looked for the tweet yesterday but it's gone

With the Jags winning the division and the Titans beating them twice, the Jags/Titans could be a good game.

However, the Titans don't have a following really here, so be hard to see what market it would get.

The last one I was at was the Steelers/Vikings in 2013, but for the five years before that you'd easily spot all 32 jerseys. Is it still the same or has the "novelty" worn off at this stage. The attendances look to be holding steady but is it a different crowd now?

I havent been in a few years either purely because the novelty wore off.
4 games a year is too much tbh, but if there was a Titans game, i'd be there in a heartbeat.

I think there's a lot more people wearing Jags gear

The novelty element of seeing people in all NFL jerseys wore off in the ground. The atmosphere was neutral indeed, though to be fair the football on show was poor (Dolphins v Saints).

When I went in 2016, the games were announced before XMas and the tickets on sale mid-late January as far as I remember?

What's the hold up??! :/ Also, can you only buy 4 tickets at once? Think I remember that from last time too. The NFL is gradually getting more appealing to my mates so will probably be more than 3 of us heading over this time!

I went across in 2015 and it was the same.

    Announcement on Thursday at 3.45pm

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,332 ✭✭✭Always Be Closing

Hoping the Chiefs will be one of the teams announced.

Will take Panthers as an alternative

Was at the Cardinals Rams game, saw all the jerseys but the majority was Cardinals jerseys

Also hope the eagles get the game against the jags :D

The Chargers will be giving up a home game for the next two years it's been confirmed.

    *prays for Chiefs*

Hoping to make the trip over this year, how long after the announcement do tickets generally go on sale?

Nice, looking forward to that. Hello Titans

    Are those confirmed Paully?

Much better offering of games this time round if so.

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 4,145 Mod ✭✭✭✭bruschi

I cant remember all the match ups from years gone by, but these 3 games must surely be the best pack of games they have ever got for the series. All very much playoff contenders this year or last year and should push on next year too.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,737 ✭✭✭Hococop

Don't think they are confirmed I'm guessing that's who he is hoping for

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,235 ✭✭✭Justin10

3 games doing the rounds from reliable sources all in Wembley... Seem that white Hart Lane won't be ready in time so only 3 games this year for London.

The Philadelphia Enquirer and NBC Sports (and probably others) have said these are the games.

God I hope so, would love to see the eagles

Ah yeah, no smoke without fire, it's being reported everywhere now.

Seahawks Raiders looks the standout, but I'd be happy with tickets for any of the three games.

It won't be ready. Spurs already have Wembley rented for the first half of next season with option to even extend into 2019.

Link to this by any chance?
I don't think its true as it would be against EPL rules. (must play all home games in same ground).

Seahawks @ Raiders 14th Oct at Spurs

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,433 ✭✭✭✭thomond2006

Eagles @ Jaguars 21st or 28th Oct at Wembley

I hate the Eagles but that one might be worth going to

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,144 ✭✭✭Onecoolcookie

Yeah that's a fairly top notch slate of games

Seahawks vs. Raiders and the whole Gruden hype train would be fun

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,352 ✭✭✭conor222

Some lovely games there, pity they are so close together as I'd like to go to both the Sea Oak game and the Phi Jags game.
Don't think the wallet could take two London trips in a 3 week period :P

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,969 ✭✭✭✭alchemist33

Those games are an order of magnitude better than the last few years' efforts, and a Seahawks game is the cherry on top. When are tickets available?

    Sorry, I miss read that.
The option is for the start of the 2018/2019 season in case the new stadium isn't ready.

Fair enough, but there's nothing in there to agree with your suggestion they could play some games at Wembley and the rest at WHL when its ready - that's against the rules.

Seems moot now anyway with the NFL seemingly happy that WHL will be ready for October.

So.....when do these tickets go on sale? Gotta go and see the Eagles/Jags game!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,977 ✭✭✭TheDoctor

Went two seasons ago to see us @ Patriots
    Last year @ Giants

Was looking @ Chicago but cant miss out on a short London trip.

What is the story with tickets, I've seen Jan 18th mentioned, but not sure if that's just more info or actual sales.

Information going to be available on the 18th.

Seems like they're going to have a lot to sort out with in relation to how they work the London Games season ticket and then the Spurs season ticket holders. If Spurs STH get first option on tickets I can only imagine that leading to some scramble for the whatever tickets are available on an individual game basis for the Seahawks/Raiders.

Two teams who went 9-7 this year, one that has gone through the first round of playoffs. Think they're very good games this year.

What are you expecting Pats v Steelers?

Overall, 3 of the teams made the playoffs this year, 2 missed out but had 9-7 records and the sixth is the Raiders (6-10) who will have the Gruden hype with them.

I'm just salty as we smashed the Chargers twice and threw away a 3-21 lead against the Titans in the playoffs :(:(

Hoping to get tickets for the titans chargers for the brothers stag. Haven’t gone to a London game before though. Is it just a lotto on the nfl site or first come first served does anyone no?
