If the inconceivable happened and Munster did end up losing, I wonder who they'll have on to do the post match interviews....

I don’t think it’s inconceivable at all. I expect Munster to win but won’t be a bit surprised if Leinster win. Lamour and Lowe should lighten up the game.

Looks like santa with that whisky nose

Which current or former Irish player would make the best Santa? Reggie certainly in the running, Shane Byrne another and Rory Best I'd imagine wouldn't be a bad shout.

Darce made a real go of it previously and certainly displayed a good beard game. Cave has that nice round face but it might be a struggle to find a beard that fits...

    But is Larmour ready??

He still doesn't have The Experience™
And he won't get it watching on the telly.

Snowing here in Cork, hope Thomond is spared.

Luckily these are the games that we all want to see him play in.

Except me. I hate him. Every ounce of his being offends me to my very cold, hard core. There’s no reason for it. I just hate him.

*the above paragraph is obviously not true, but can be used by anyone petty enough should they need it in future. Whoever that may be, you’re welcome.

Clint Newlands or Olly Le Roux would be perfect, if we can count them.

If not, but if we can allow fake beards and hair, John Hayes would be OK at it, might be better at that than rugby at least...

    Earls and Marshall out.

Munster playing silly buggers with team sheets, terrible stuff. Maybe MOC has rubbed off.

    Munster:
    Andrew Conway; Darren Sweetnam, Sammy Arnold, Rory Scannell, Alex Wootton; Ian Keatley, Conor Murray;
Dave Kilcoyne, Kevin O'Byrne, Stephen Archer; Jean Kleyn, Billy Holland; Peter O’Mahony (c), Tommy O’Donnell, CJ Stander.

Replacements: Niall Scannell, James Cronin, John Ryan, Darren O’Shea, Jack O’Donoghue, Duncan Williams, JJ Hanrahan, Simon Zebo.

They bring in two players from the cold to start? Silly buggers indeed.

Apparently Earls and Marshall are fit they're just leaving them in the dressing room...

They're a bit like Zebo, Munster rugby is very much down their list of priorities

Who are even half these Munster lads? Have they played professionally before? What's a Wootton? Is O'Byrne Munster for Byrne?

That's what pashun sounds like, Mark.

No broadband today. I'm stuck with TG4. Having said that, I think Reggie is on so this might be interesting.

Leinster try potentially... checking for offside or any obstruction

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 37,978 ✭✭✭✭irishbucsfan

Nothing wrong there at all, try for the good guys, 8-0

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 38,244 ✭✭✭✭Guy:Incognito

Not going to complain about a try for leinster, but the angles available for the replay on the offside for the kick were fairly ****.

The regal Ross Byrne effortlessly strikes over what is definitely the best conversion Thomond Park has ever seen, 10-0

    There was no offside.

    That's a shocker from Wootton.

    That's a shocker from Wootton.

The penalty was worse, brainless stuff.

  • That's a shocker from Wootton.

In midfield? He just targets and tries to tackle the wrong player, very poor alright.
