"I think so. The Mausoleum to the North East, he patrols there. Last I heard she resided there, beneath the crypts. Why he has not entered, I do not know."

"My powers are nascent. I have barely scratched the surface of magic but I am still very limited. I don't have the power to release you if that is your thinking...unless I can simply wash away the chalk line with some water.
If however you need something translated from a language you don't understand then I'm your man."

I also, well another aspect of myself did, pass over. You wouldn't remember this, but I almost had you to the other side, though I do not comprehend your religion's afterlife, it looked like chaotic white noise. Then you flew back out of my grip and back into your corpse."

Don't be silly! Afterlives are for chumps! It's all just energy trapped in the wrong states. Would surprise me to find you're in on the whole thing, at the very least you're a fierce enabler. So, Scarata - what do we need to know? Powers? Vulnerabilities? Is she hot?

Kal stands in awe of what has befallen his teammates. He shuffles nervously over to hide behind a mound of rubble. He's not sure that this is what he signed up for at all.

"That sounds fair, and you have much better chance for this to succed now."
Ekbard thinks to himself, if only we had a robodwarf to assist, ah well, we'll do our best.

"Scarata is very powerful, she is a Warlock* to be precise.

Attractive? A portion of your race would think so, but that aspect of your behaviour is not my remit."

OOC: I'm letting in any who are online now. Might as well be able to handle as much of the dungeon as possible.

Crossing the river Ekbard spots the Mausoleum, really a set of graveyards with a largish building, slightly bigger than a house with what looks like a carving of a forest on its surface, at the center of all the graves.

Gibbering and Laughing come from within the building.

Ekbard checks the mausoleum for entrances.

There is a front door, though locked, the door is wooden and shabby and could be easily kicked in.

Ekbard knocks on the door, and says, "Hello there, a man from the village sent us this way in search of his uncle. The mans wife is expecting. He told us that this uncle, seeks out Scarata. I'd very much like to meet this uncle."

OOC: The scroll is loaded with magical power, so you get it for free. You can still load your normal daily one.

Warlock. That sounds scary. Is she evil? Is she more powerful than you?....can she offer us a better deal? Oh oh oh! Why are you still answering questions? Do you have to answer everything I ask? What am I thinking of right now?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,558 ✭✭✭✭Fourier

    A voice from within answers.

"You also seek Scarata? I did not think there were men of such courage yet in this world. A pleasure."

You hear him stand and walk toward the door.

"I am the champion of the scorpion, slayer of Carrifex of Zassan, but you may call me...."

An explosive arrow lodges in the door and blows it to bits, smoke fills the hut.

"No" he answers without arrogance, stating simple fact.

"Not all of me. Of the particular aspect that deals with this forest, the one before you. Marginally less powerful."

Cool. Cause Ekkie will sleep for another 8 hours, we can chat for ages. So... You preside over the forest. I planted a dead elf in your forest. Is he going to grow into an elf tree or something?

The man steps through the smoke out into the evening air, the sun setting on the horizon.

"Aye, now that's an eager group."

    He sniffs.

"Dwarrowtown craftsmanship. Good choice halfling, but I could take an arrow like that to the chest and only graze a few hairs.

A Nerosian! Wonderful, born warriors. A vampire, a thief, an Osinzir mage and..."

    He stares at Goodie.

"...a halfling who has drank potions of speed and size. This will do. I am Khalem."

Kal rushes up to the door to see what remains of the person within. He shouts back at Goodie, 'What in all the gods names are you doing man? I thought we were here to kill a demon, not a man?'
