Moved the last of my XRP into ETH this morning at 0.00122, it did go as high as 0.001278 after I sold out but happy with what I sold at.
ETH is taking a real hammering over the past while and while it used to be my access coin to Alts, I'm probably going to move my remaining Alts back to ETH at current value and then hope for a bounce againxt BTC in the medium term to build my overall BTC holdings.

ETH has also been one of my main coins so I've been watching with interest. I was planning in buying back in at €200 but will hold off a bit longer to see how this plays out.

Yeah a lot of uncertainty over Eth, Constantinople next month, views that it's "too far ahead of itself", ICO's selling their Eth, Goldman potentially shelving their plans over cryptos, then future worries with Casper - the neverending doubts about scaling

I remember these types of uncertain phases with BTC, for the first time in a long time (almost one and a half years) that I am thinking of buying Eth again

Anyone think the dogecoin eth bridge launch will prop up eth when it gets applied to dogecoin.

Atlantis Blue digital token seems to be pumping up the last couple of weeks. It a token back by a rare gem larimar. Got to be honest never heard of larimar but might be good for very short term gains.

Kin just hired a former Twitch exec to the position of CMO to scale up their Marketing for the future.

"We are happy to announce that former Twitch executive, Matt Dipietro, has been appointed to the position of CMO for Kin. We look forward to working with Matt as he drives marketing strategy for the Kin brand, platform, and product suite. Next week on the Sept. 25, Matt will do a live AMA (more details to be announced soon). Welcome aboard Matt!"

Given how Ken (CEO) is very product focused and has said constantly that marketing will happen when it's the right time it looks like things are becoming more promising. Being a former Twitch exec Dipietro can also bring something to the table about rewarding influencers with Kin using the KRE.
    Future is looking bright!

Got an email from Kraken this morning confirming that Cardano (ADA) and Quantum (QTUM) are being added with trading effective from 28/9.
I'm still holding a little ADA so interesting to see if this has any effect on pricing.

Just purchased some Udoo tokens on exrates. A new company social media company called Howdoo seem to have compiled facebook, insta, twitter etc all into one platform, while at the same time rewarding their users with udoo's for posting/creating content. The platform is not launching until later this year but im very hopeful of success after seeing all the work thats being done behind the scenes. There main USP is that they protect users data which is very rare and attractive in these times. Im hopeful of a moon as there listing on coinbene in a couple of weeks too :D

I assume they;re not the first to have a go at a decentralised facebook/twitter/instagram? Who are they competing with?

Steemit and Mithril. Mithril has just 15k accounts however. Howdoo are aiming for 1,000,000 accounts by April. Mithril have a 110m+ market cap so there seems to be big potential.

Word of warning if you use Bittrex to hold your Alt coins. They regularly retire wallets and you could lose access to your coins. Bitcoin Gold is going today. They shut RISE and Signal earlier in the year too.

I though it would mean you just couldn't buy and sell but apparently you can't even withdraw them once it's gone.

Yeah but I think they give a decent window to move the coins

Seems to be, even though they said 14 days I was able to take my RISE out so it looks like they might just say 14 days to get them off their platform.

Anyone looked into raven coin, it's up a crazy amount the last week or so.

  • Registered Users Posts: 793 ✭✭✭Tango One

BAT is to be listed on coinbase Pro up about 30%.

Anyone here following SkyCoin? Certainly one of the more interesting projects.

I'm watching them, I stumbled across siacoin while researching skycoin and ended up with a decent bag of sc, looking to dip into skycoin if it drops a bit more.

Shame I have such a small holding in BAT, just checked in for the first time in a while and surprised to see the increase!

  • Registered Users Posts: 793 ✭✭✭Tango One

Bat is still on the rise.

ADA or XLM may get the coinbase list pump in the not too distance future.

XLM looks likely to be the next coinbase addition.Im contemplating putting most of the my BTC into XLM until the announcement.
Should happen before the new year Id say.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,038 ✭✭✭rapul

Yeah hard to say really it's gonna be Stellar or Cardano though for sure I'd say ,I got lucky with the pump in Bat but harder to call this one

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,800 ✭✭✭✭Dohnjoe

Hard one to call. The market knows XLM is being added. Just not when, and the market could be quite diff in the week(s) before

Anyway, XLM is a solid enough coin so not too much risk either way

  • Registered Users Posts: 793 ✭✭✭Tango One

Zcash is another possibility for coinbase, it seems to be pumping up at the moment

Any people with good information about this coin?

    Ravencoin.....

Just in case anybody's missed this news and may be worried about their coins or any recent transactions, Vertcoin has been 51% attacked for the last few days. ~$100,000 double-spent.

I can't work out why they were dragging their feet on an algo-switch, but this is the price they pay for letting the guard down. Can't imagine confidence will be too high within their community.

    Ravencoin.....

Fairly distributed, no-premine, development being sponsored by the owner of Overstock.com and it aims to specialise in real world asset-ownership/transfer as well as being a currency.

Current chains tend to have data written as messages which you'd have to keep a track of on your own centralised database or use some other service that tracks the token ownership for you, this aims to be all on-chain.

    Cheers.

I didn't get any, in my latest round of investments - yeah hodlin to the end.

Funny that any positive news would cause a dip and this crap is up 5%.

    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
