    2.20 southwell - deise vu

4.00 - Panko 9/4 - id lump on only for the 4/6 favourite being so dangerous

    5.10 - undefined beauty 9/4

    trixie for tomozzo

I was 12 winners out of 18 posted before today. Couldn't have gone any worse!

    Fell.

Fell. That 4/6 horse won easy.

    Came 2nd last...

    Apologies if anyone was on

Like Jack Dillinger in the 2:30 @ Gowran (currently 2.8 on the exchanges).

First run for Joesph O'Brien with Davy Russell up on it.

Surely anything close to his run in the JLT at Punchestown takes this.

Happy to oppose the lads selection over on the other thread,
he went for one in the 5.15 wpl e/w, that isn't well tipped/backed but is still 'info stuff'?
Also moved the goalposts out to -100pts, and yet people still follow...

If there was any race today to go e/w in, it was the 1.50 only via Sky 5pl in field of 10.

Anyways Duke of Yorkie (w/o) 3pl @5 will be on the mixed acca arrays.
Also wilcard Diva Bella@13w/o in same 5.15, in the mix with couple from the golfstickball.

Went from 18s to 10s so being backed alright.

Possibly one of the biggest movers of the day (Do'Y), but was held back and failed to ignite. Still no better or worse really than other keen selections.

Ironically it was the only one that held back the 6-fold/7 e/w acca slightly.

It's an awful pity I can't say what an utter sickener you are. That you're verging on self obsessed, obsessive and very condescending. If I could say it, I would, but I can't so I won't.

Shame I can't comment on your constant whinney drively drone (whatever you do don't visit the other aftertiming screenshots page) - it will only upset you further.

Merely put up a fancy as a line selection which didn't materialise, and shown this to be the case as above.

Why not put up a selection yourself every once in a while? Instead of scratching your chin?

Again, the logic behind directly opposing another source, is rather simple and it really is nothing personal. I.e. It generally works (as technique of avoidance). Ain't got time to start a log or anything.

    - Sure, it would be nice to see everyone beat the bookies, but following such a long continous losing run and expecting sudden change might well be the defination of madness.

On the other hand, do follow other more positve sources and mention (as above) market movers, that may sometimes prove useful.

Anywonder it's very quiet in here these days...

Takes a bit of time, and often the e/w bets aren't even in extra place races (like today) so not a huge attraction to do every single one.

As a concept or strategy (i.e. direct avoidance) it isn't a bad one, if anything a somewhat logical application under the circumstances.

Would be concerned for all the folks still asking, thanking, and following blindly towards another -100pts however.

I'll probably refrain from any further suggestions/fancies/tips at all in future, and simply post only in the glamourous, better suited, and much more entertaining: 'The Great After-timing Thread'

UNCLE NORMAN has run 4 times and his sp was 16/1,66/1,100/1 and 28/1 last time out.

I put the horse in my tracker when it finished 5 and 1/4 lengths 8th behind Prince Elzaam when the Prince won his first race for us.The horse did not reappear for 70 days and had a new trainer,T D Easterby in a nursery at Carlisle where he finished 4th running on well having started very slowly.

He has run on well in his last 3 races doing his best work all too late.I know nothing about the horse except what i saw and read,i have no idea why he was off for 70 days nor why he moved from Tinkler to Easterby.

However i do believe he could be extremely well handicapped and there are some tenuous lines of form that support that view.Seven furlongs in a modest handicap (2.40 Redcar) may be long enough to make him competitive or he might want a bit further.

His last run was on heavy but he showed similar form on good ground. There is not enough evidence to have a real go at this fellow but i have had €25 ew at 11/1 and i might have a little more tomorrow.

Runs in the 6.45 at Newcastle, drops in class to a class 6 and down 3 lbs means i have to back to back UNCLE NORMAN again. Started slowly before running on well again and not being knocked about on his first run for this trainer.

Sure to win a race when starting on terms at 10/1 i will back it ew and hope that Easterby will have him ready to win this poor contest.

? Few winners just on one page during the recent 7/7day short run of ‘opposition selections’. Some others placed or were voided. The worst results come from short favs, which try to avoid anyway. https://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2057812251&page=51

    PowerDown @7 9(BOG)
    ‘FB’ (Fragrant Belle) w/o @5.5
    Twister @<4.0

As of this good week, I longer post any ‘racing-related’ fancies, anywhere on this site.

I often use complex big data to build acca array sets, so really haven’t got time to post them anyway, as is too time consuming (hence all the abbreviations, shorthand and jargon).

Many variables involve vendor selection, offsetting, risk reduction(s), source viability (or discrimination), enhancement prioritisation and other complex filters upon raw data, for end logic selection.

Might only post the occasional specialist & novelty futures market recommendation, just for entertainment purposes.

Might see the occasional 6,000+/1 type results (two, this week!), of large (mixed event) accumulators. But only popping up of course, in the proper thread for such things: e.g. https://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055948463&page=63 pending future vendor(s) access.

Good luck folks, and cheer up!

No joy yesterday and Uncle Norman no longer in the tracker but will probably win a race.

CORAL BEACH at 5/2 is still a maiden after 10 runs for Aiden OBrien and normally that would be enough to put me off. However this fellow has run many sound races and can be deemed unlucky not to have got his head in front.

Ran a very good race last time (well backed) when a few horses were heavily punted and can finally win today with the Weld runner the most likely danger.
PP 5/2 and i have taken that price.

EMPIRE LINE was very well backed in the race won by Festina Plante over 5 furlongs 3 weeks ago.
I think that was a very good race and i put the third horse (Coral Beach) up as a good bet a couple of days ago and it won,the betting suggested this was a very good race with 3 or 4 heavily backed and EMPIRE LINE who was 5th can only improve on its 2nd run.

A couple are short enough in the betting and at 6/1--13/2 this looks an ew bet to nothing in the5. 30 Dun.

The Cesarewitch is a 30+ handicap run over 2 miles 2 furlongs at Newmarket and traditionally was a great betting race with lots of plots and gambles.

With huge money going to the winner the race attracts a better class of horse now and all the top trainers are represented and W Mullins has 7 entries!

Punters would probably be better off swerving this puzzle but i cant resist having a bet on the race and after a couple of hours going through the race i decided to put my tenner ew on CLEONTE trained by Andrew Balding.

A thorough stayer, who was aimed at this race after winning over two miles at Ascot beating Stars Over The Sea.A few pounds better off with that horse now,i backed it at 14/1 with PP who are going 7 places and i believe CLEONTE will give us a good run.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,723 ✭✭✭zimmermania

PERSIAN KING in the 2.25 at Newmarket is my best bet tomorrow, trained in France by A Fabre who does not send them over on wild goose chases.A wide margin winner of his last 2 races he can manage the step up in class,7/4 generally i am hoping he may drift to 2s.

My other bet tomorrow is the Jim Bolger trained TWILIGHT PAYMENT in the listed race at 2 45 in Limerick, sure to be suited by the softish ground (stays much further) this represents a drop in class and at 11/4-3/1 looks a good bet to me.

The Munster National is an open race and i am having a few quid ew on SPIDER WEB who was running a very good race before falling when staying on in 7th in a valuable handicap chase in Galway last time. That was a rough race and he will have learnt a good bit from it.

With only 9-11 today he is worth an ew bet at the 16s available.Lim 4.45.

MACAQUE at 11/1 is also worth an ew bet in the 5.30 at Goodwood, the course will suit as i think he is best on an easy track rather than a stiff one.
Not one to have the house on but a modest ew might give a return.

A very good week, only got back from a week in Portugal monday (hence no activity that week) and very happy to have picked up a good few quid this week when things went mostly my way.

For those who bet on the dogs a punting buddy of mine asked me to go to Tralee tonight to back trap 3 in the 7.59.Dogs are not my thing but the dog hacked up last time and while stepping up in class connections think he can win again.

I am not going but as my luck in very much in i will have a few quid on it.

The dogs are handy enough (via Sky 3pl/6). A crowd I follow did a handy 2000/1 acca while ago (only got on 7 see other thread, but @108)

They favour (NB) T6 in the 19:53 (C'Park) tonight at about 1.8, as does another seperate crowd on one of the Sat broadcast networks. The only issue is Sky don't offer Tralee for ExPlaces.

But could double this and Tralee elsewhere though.
For Trixie, it's a coin flip between T1 or T5 in the 20:09 CP.

The coin flip was T1 (not 5) in the 20:09 and the other part of the suggested trixie 19:53 placed.
