    Going back on tour.

Playing Dublin on the 1st and 2nd February 2019, and Belfast on 13th and 14th of January 2019.

Tickets will be like bloody gold-dust I'd say.

They go on sale at 10am this Sunday.

Judging by the gaps in the schedule I would say they have quite a few more dates planned for here.

    Note THIS IS 2019

Promoter did this 1.5 years advance ticket sales thingy on last tour too

Pretty much standard for big comedy gigs now.

Why do comedians sometimes announce tour dates a year in advance ??

Is it so that get interest on ticket money in case there popularity takes a slump ??

I thought it was to bank the money and get some return from interest alright.

Not denying his comedies genius, but has Peter Kay done anything in recent years though?

Saw him last time, once is enough for me, good show but been there, blah blah

He really should of brought back Phoenix nights apparently he has season 3 written

His shows are good and his stand up is very real life (lots of British/Irish humour, mad grandparents, wedding receptions, school days etc).

3 customers can get presale codes & then buy tomorrow at 10. Really hoping to get tickets.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 79 ✭✭HisJills

Any 3 customers out there that have a Pre sale code they are not using? I’d love it if you could pass it on! Thanks in advance

Was waiting for the pre sale @ 10am but none seem to be available. Anyone get tickets?

This is whats on the ticketmaster site:

Tickets are currently not available online for one of the following reasons. Please check back for availability.

Tickets may not be on sale yet
Tickets may not be available at this time. More tickets may become available later
Tickets may not be available online just hours before an event occurs
On rare occasions, tickets may only be available at Ticket Centres or the box office

same here. Suspect there's a link somewhere else on Ticketmaster for the presale page

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 160 ✭✭aj89

Can't even get onto the site through link I was sent, page only half loads. I suspect there will be none left

Got 3 no problems, presale restricted to 4 only, which is a bummer as I needed 5.
    2 were for friends.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,120 ✭✭✭andrew1977

Got 2 of the cheap seats for the Saturday night in the presale no problem.
I look forward to it ... when it eventually does come round.

His last tour - unreal numbers:

Longest individual run at the Manchester Arena performing 20 nights.
First ever stand-up comedian to play 15 sold out nights at The O2, London.
The only British artist to ever play 20 consecutive nights at an arena.
Over one million tickets sold in arenas across the UK and Ireland, making it the biggest stand-up comedy tour in the world.

Is everyone only getting tickets on the side?

If I'm paying one hundred rather be looking at the stage

Edit - I see Jeffrey Lebowski got EXTRA tickets with the code :-(

    Presale sold out.

Gutted... But I suppose they've held some for general sale, do you think? If not I'll just have to hope I run into him at my local petrol station like I did in the summer and see if he's got any spares :D

Yeah I got block A but in seat 18 row 10 so think I'm near block b which is grand(better be good for 150 odd euro) only other option I got was block M right up in the God's, was there for Mickey Flanagan and was a bit too far

Ah stop, I was about to get tickets in Block A row 9 :(

Depends what seat number it might be ok

Had a serious up & down hour there.

Originally on the 3 Plus site, I was told my mobile number & password were not signed up for 3 plus and therefore could not avail of tickets.

Kept persisting and eventually got in to buy 2 tickets for the Friday for the folks.

Delighted but worrying that it wouldn't go through the first time

Yeah, I would've been happy with that - but Jeff Lebowski got there first.

Ill keep trying and then if not wait till sunday, wouldnt fancy sitting looking at the side of the stage.

If need be in the middle and back then theres likely screens if THAT hard to see

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 675 ✭✭✭unichick

I got two tickets for the Saturday. Delighted. Had better seats but had issues with my ticketmaster password so lost them. Thought I wasn’t going to get any so delighted to get them! Now hotel accommodation. Can’t book til 12 months before!

I like Peter Kaye but the venue is too big and 90%of the audience will be assholes that talk and go to the bar a lot

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,503 ✭✭✭secman

Have mine , booked 2 of the best seats.... I'll find out tomorrow which seats I have.
Saw him the last time he played Dublin, brilliant gig.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 44,200 ✭✭✭✭Basq

He's on The Late Late tonight too, so tickets will definitely be hard gotten on Sunday.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 406 ✭✭martin101

Hopefully he adds more dates like he did last time he was here.
