+1. From memory the regional rail (RER) goes directly to the stadium from town in a 20 minute or so journey. Socialise in town, and head out to the match as late as possible. The area around the stadium (St Denis if I'm not mistaken) is definitely not on the beaten tourist track.

Thanks. I've heard that from a few people. I found an Irish pub, the King Lewis, just over a km from the stadium. Might go there for the Irish match then taxi to the stadium.

Nice amount of youth in that England side.

Take Farrell, Itoje and Billy out of England's team and it looks nowhere near as intimidating. Which is fair enough I guess.

Akira Ioane is rumoured to be getting called up to the ABs tour as Kaino heads home.

Good to see Shingler and Navidi getting a run, they've been two of the top performers in the league for a while (I know it's only because Tipuric and Warbs are injured, but still).

Really hope Steff Evans can make the step up too.

Yeah I always thought Navidi deserved a call up, consistently one of Cardiff's top performers over the last couple of years

I fancy Australia to do a number on Wales there and win with room. Welsh pack looks pretty mediocre. For whatever reason, they're often brutal in the autumn series.

A real shift in Gatlands approach - the lions tour obviously got him thinking. Williams at 12 means a more expansive game plan will be expected.

Will be a tough one for Wales with Australia expecting to clean up through their loose forwards I would imagine. Though I do rate both Shingler and Navidi its a big step up for both together

My plans of having Ireland v SA and Wales v Aussie on 2 screens in my lounge, followed by Ireland football qualifier and France v AB's on 2 screens has been shattered by being offered a ticket to the Ireland match.

Why do they make all these sports clash? It's just not right.

    Farrell injured?

    Resting him and Itoje.

May would have started for Watson but for injury also.

I was listening to a piece on South African rugby on the radio a few nights ago.

The subject of race came up and the SA journalist being interviewed stated that the SA Union want to have 50% black player representation for the 2019 World Cup.

Personally I would pick players based on merit and ability. Their race is irrelevant to me. I want the best team on the field, whether they're black, white, blue, green.

Create equality of opportunity not equality of outcome.

Race quotas will be divisive and only serve to breed mediocrity.

The journalist also said that due to the growing involvement of black players, their current representation is based on merit and that 50% is completely achievable based on merit come the RWC.

Although I'm not sure he'd want to be the journalist who said they were keeping superior players out due to their race!

Patterson isn't too bad as co-commentor but John Beaty is just dire.

Samoa too eager there to get back into play rather than realise Hogg was out of 22

    13 10. Samoan try.

God how one of 2 of the Samoan back row would be good for Ulster..

Stat just popped up that Underhill is averaging 17 tackles and 1 turnover a game in the premiership. That is pretty incredible.

Not releasing in the tackle is hardly a new rule Argentina have to learn.

Never a yellow card, never ever.

if it is a card then surely it has to be a red considering brown lands on his head, yellow makes no sense either way

Thought it was a fair contest for the ball. Brown just landed awkwardly which will happen sometimes with two players jumping together and colliding.

If that's a yellow, then it's time to ban high kicks or jumping of the ground or both.

Me too - he looked to me to be clearly going for the ball.
