Don't know if it's already been mentioned but the behaviour of the Clare maor uisce/caman's during the game was disgraceful. They went after our lads on the line twice. Never seen anything like it.
Take the tinted glasses off. Yes one of the Clare lads was out of order but in front of us one of the Cork equivalents was equally as bad if not worse and was the instigator in a lot of incidents.

people dont like clare because of there in your face aggression and kilkenny type temperament

but in truth if we didn't change back in the 90s we would still be walked on by most teams ,the days that we dont show aggression are the days we get hammered like the limerick or tipp games

no we dont but we had to change because we were walked on . think clare 1993 against say 1997 against tipp

we had to change something so we developed a level of aggression that kilkenny use in order to get us to compete

I recently bought O'Connor hurleys through their online portal - 3 hurleys all good quality and a good grain so very happy with service.

Did anyone notice we had a number 27 and number 28 on the pitch before the game. I thought it was a 26 man squad for match day.

The two players were Michael o halloran and David Griffin....an absolute joke as they have been tired already and they are not up to it bit of a farce?!! where are Conor o Sullivan and Cormac Murphy gone ?

They were probably there in case of injuries in the warm up.

Have the two lads played more than 3 league games each? They are both 22, so to write them off and calling it a farce is very silly. Especially when then calling for Conor O’Sullivan and Cormac Muprhy to be there, who have been around a lot longer, and not exactly shone in the last couple of years.

I think Coleman has been very disappointing this year. Far too loose and he gives away an awful amount of ball.

Glad we're through but still more questions than answers particularly in full-back line.

    Any news on Colm Spillane?

    Need him back asap.

Meyer was asked about him after the match yesterday and said that he is back training so that's good news.

Griffin was tried under Kieran Kingston and didn’t impress

Surely Shane Kingston will start ahead of like Meade at least he will score I don’t know what Luke Meade does every game least Kingston has a bit of pace and scores.

Hopefully Lehane will be fit enough to start the next day be interesting to see what and how the backs will line up maybe Joyce back in ?

ruled Spillane out of the next game though.

In other news, €40 for stand and €30 terrace tickets for the football Saturday is madness. Are they trying to turn people off going and no doubt the papers Monday will be full of how nobody supports the football.

Many people after going to 4 hurling games in recent weeks and then be expected to shell out again for a less than attractive fixture. Prices should be halved and try encourage people to go

I think that's part of Clares problem.A bit too much brawn, and not enough brains!:D But they certainly gave Cork, a kick up the hole yesterday.Hopefully Cork will learn the hard lessons from yesterday.Cork have the forwards to win the all ireland, but the backs concede a lot of scores, and im not sure about the brains trust on the sideline. As for Clare, they have totally and utterly failed to build on that all Ireland in 2013.It's been 21 years since they last won a munster title as well.

Madness by the GAA to be charging those prices even if it is a munster final. The game could be over before half time if Kerry got going. Also, kerry supporters are known to not be the travelling type and the GAA think that crowd will travel cork city when they traditionally don't even travel All Ireland semi finals.

€40 for a game that could be over by half time is a bit steep could be a very small crowd there on Saturday is the match on RTÉ or sky as it’s on a Saturday night ?

Ridiculous pricing. I think it will be a very interesting game. Cork are apparently going well in training and challenge games. I fully expect us to give them more of a game than in previous years. The quality of Kerry should prevail of course, but I for one dont think it will be over by ht.
Last 20 minutes is where I think we will run out of steam and ship scores that will skew the scoreline somewhat.

And if the weather is manky like it seems to be a lot recently then it won't a hard choice to stay home in a warm house instead of sitting in the pairc getting soaked.

A low bar to set for whether the game is a success or not.

Success is relative. Relative to recent years, Saturday will hopefully be a success.

    You have to be realistic.

If we give Kerry a fright, then i'll be happy enough. It's sad to say that. But that's the low base that we are coming from. But i think we can stay with them for 60 minutes at least.I don't think they'll beat us by more than six points. The main thing is to get to the super eights. The more games that team gets the better.

Not that it matters much as prices will still be steep but that only effects those who buy on the day

€35 stand and €25 terrace and discounts for OAPs and Studenst as per usual if bought before Saturday

Best of luck to the lads! Working their holes off as much as any other team and they deserve our support in the Pairc - Hope we get a good turn out

Because he's being selected to play by the selectors who might know 'collectively' a small bit more about football than us keyboard warriors?
