In all fairness with the 2 hidings that clare got in the last 2 games, do ye blame rte for wanting to show limerick tipp?

. I can’t see Tipp fielding a full team as why would they show their hand to limerick.

I wouldnt be so sure lads, Tipp are very much a momentum and confidence team, winning is a habit and I would expect Sheedy to put out his strongest 15.

I can't believe this is 20 years ago! Remember it vividly. Timely as we play Clare next

Looking at that bench and we have some really good options there. Hopefully they are all bursting to get on and get their place.

    Hopefully its another good performance

Galway going out should be a huge warning for us for tomorrow. need to get on top early stop Clare building any momentum.

I was thinking the exact same thing. We have to just do our own business and not think it will work out anyway.

Im a bit nervous.Clare are always dangerous in Ennis. But hopefully we'll get the job done.I really think we'll give the all Ireland a serious rattle, if we make it out of Munster. So long as the attitude is right, then we should get the job done.Clare haven't beaten us since that 2013 all ireland final.Hopefully that record will remain intact!Rebels Abu.

The more I think about it, the more I believe finishing 3rd is the best outcome. Winning Munster served no benefit in the long run the last 2 years.

Half time in the Munster Minor Hurling Championship

    Clare 0-12 Cork 0-6

Limerick are beating Tipp so the minors will be going out unless they turn this around

Agreed..Donal O' Grady said as much in yesterday's Examiner.

With 50 odd Munster titles..we don't need another one esp. when it guarantees you are inactive for four weeks waiting for an AI semi-final.

But its not in our hands either..we have to go for the win today and let other results take care of themselves.

2 Darragh Flynn goals now. 2.07 to 0.14 after 11 mins 2nd half.

Clare win it with a point 4 mins in to inj time. A draw would have had Cork top. Gutted for them. Clare v Limerick in minor final.

Disappointing but at least they showed good fight in the second half.

This should definitely serve as a warning to the seniors

Finishing second is the best outcome.
Advance to one semi v Leinster champions, and 1st and 3rd in Munster slug it out in the other semi.

The flip side of that argument is that almost every possible permutation sees Tipp and Limerick already through. Cork and Clare are both playing to stay in it so much more at stake there.

1-02 to 1-00 to Clare after 2 minutes. O Donnell & Hoggie with the goals

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,419 ✭✭✭The White Feather

Get the sense we are relying on Tipp now to win!

    In huge trouble

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,419 ✭✭✭The White Feather

    Clare 2-10 (16) Cork 1-8 (11) at half time

Only 5 points and a lot of work to do. I think our bench could be crucial here as we do have quality there. But Clare are at home and it will be a tough second half. Tipp winning helps but there isn't much in that game and who knows what will happen in that second half

  • Registered Users Posts: 547 ✭✭✭Soulsun

an early goal in the second half and it's game on

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,419 ✭✭✭The White Feather

Cork making 2 changes at half time.

Damien Cahalane & Stephen McDonnell replace Robert Downey & Eoin Cadogan.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,342 ✭✭✭Seadin

I hope Cork dont blow this. Shane o donnell and Tony Kelly destroyed Cork in 2013 and they have done it again.

    Tip win is enough.

No harm to be beaten and still go through.

    Expectations will lower yet again.

Hopefully this is the kick up the arse they need. Last two years winning Munster did us no good, hopefully going the longer route will pay dividends. Very frustrating to lose to that shower though.
