Our early league performances were a disaster. I'd be confident in the lads keeping it close this year.

ye probably would have enough in fairness ,

look dont mind us we are like a bunch of teenagers wandering around a shopping mall with no money looking for something to do with the last two weeks since our exit form the hurling championship :D

i would like us to get cork for various reasons also :D but in fairness it would be better for cork not to get clare as the last few meetings have been lopsided against cork and pressure would be on , ye are way better then what ye have shown in the league laois would be ideal , i wouldn't rule out ye beating a depleted mayo side ye can raise the game against better teams do ye really want clare again there has been some fairly one sided games in recent past ,

I would want Laois first and then Clare. League and championship completely different beasts and ye haven’t beaten us in championship though probably would have if we met the last 2/3 years. We are better structured this year and go into a qualifier without the baggage of a destruction by Kerry.

Anyone have any thoughts on this. I’m hoping west Meath win as portlaoise is easier to get to. After that I hope Wexford win Leinster. I would fancy us against Kilkenny. On the other side I think who ever loses Munster final will beat Dublin in qualifier and thinking we will win our two games would give us a semi against winners of Munster. With that in mind I wouldn’t fear Tipp so hoping they win Munster. I probably getting ahead of myself here but roll on the next few weeks.

I think your talking sense. Completely agree that Cork should fancy their chances against Kilkenny. Too much speed and could give them a good hiding. I think meeting Tipp again would have a motivation factor which cant be quantified. Again a fully loaded Cork have nothing to fear there.

I’d take Laois here, Westmeath would be a disaster to get to. Could double header if the footballers get Laois too!

Is it Tipp or Kilkenny on our side of the draw now?

    Kilkenny

    Kilkenny

We shouldnt fear Kilkenny. We can take them once we get past Westmeath first obviously. Interesting to see how will Limerick handle the time off now. Last two years it went against Cork.

Will have to beat Westmeath, Kilkenny & Limerick to get to AI final. No bother.

and Tipp to win. If Cork or Kilkenny win it it will arguably be their best AI

we have the hurling to beat kilkenny. They will look to physically bully us and just generally outworked us .As long as we dont get involved in a physical type of game we shud be ok

The last 2 years suggest we arent far off an All Ireland. We need to get few things right this year for us tohave any chance of winning an All Ireland. To beat Kilkenny Limerixk and Tipp in one year to win AI is a huge ask.

I really do fancy our chances against ye.Of course you always have to respect Kilkenny, but teams don't fear them anymore.Kilkenny Limerick and possibly Tipp. That's a tough route to the all Ireland, but sure i see no reason why we can't pull it off. After all we are Cork.;):)

I'd favour the rebels against the cats going on recent form, but it's a bit like a derby game so anything can happen.

There is no way cork supporters of old would be making statements like the last line above. The success famine is taking its toll

Both QF's would be at neutral venues. I'd assume Cork/Kilkenny would be in Thurlas?

    Tipp/Dublin in Nowlan Park?

All good teams there. Sometimes its only a puc of a ball that can seperate them.

Exactly. The other 2 of the Big 3 and the reigning AI champions. Doesn’t get tougher than that.

I presume surgery was to re-attach?
