    Correct.

Unfortunately, the set up in Cork and Kerry - which is very well known - creates that imbalance for Munster competitions.

It doesn't take away from the fact that Kilmurry are a fine team. Winning the Cork County proved that.

Well they are the best premier junior team in cork and this is their 3rd year in a row in a munster final.first against Fossa and the there was a big difference in class,

Last year it was Listowel Emmets and while it was a closer affair you could still see gulf in class .

This year it's Firies and we will see on Saturday week in Mallow but looking at how our seniors and Intermediate teams got on I'd be thinking Firies will be hot favs..

Unfortunately you are likely correct on the above. It is a pity the regrading of Senior, Intermediate and Junior causes this to happen, but given the sheer quantity of clubs, you can see why it was decided to do so and we couldn't really let the winners of the top 3 represent Cork, it has to be 1,3,5.

And Watergrasshill are Munster Intermediate Champions.

    A fantastic win for them on a scoreline of 1-21 v 0-14

2 great wins for Cork teams today.

That is 6 in a row for Cork clubs in the Munster Junior, and 5 of the last 7 in the Intermediate.

Will there be another win tomorrow?! Tough ask

Can't see Sars getting within 7 or 8 of them but you never know.

Goal up at ht - have to be happy with that. Infinitely better than last time.

No game won at half time but Sars have given themselves a chance, 3 up at the break. Playing well, winning alot of rucks and putting pressure on Ballygunner players in possession.

Sars are in pure bonus territory but will have a right cut off them. It was really noticable how fit sars were in the last 15.

All 4 teams left will really fancy it, reminds me of 2013 intercounty championship

  • Moderators, Category Moderators, Recreation & Hobbies Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 34,937 CMod ✭✭✭✭ShamoBuc

They are a good team. Generally the Junior and Intermediate are probably harder to win than the Senior - Alot of good teams pushing each other every year.

    Cork team spending was 2m

Cork Secretary talking about that "incident" at the end of the All Ireland Final

    Untitled Image

In one sense its good to be sporting but I think there must be fair play as well. To think all the officials missed this below really annoys me! Yes it still stings! 😄

Then throw in the hurling U20 "Goal" !!!

That's part of sport as far as I'm concerned - when it goes with you, it's great, however..... I still get proper vexed when I hear the name Tommy Sugrue.
