    Finished 7-27 Westmeath 0-15

Cork looked sharp when they got going and great to see goals being going for and taken. I feel sorry for Westmeath losing 2 of their best players early on and I hope they are ok.

Cork emptying the bench was great as other players got game time.

That'll do nicely. Delighted Connolly looks to be making the leap already. Easy to forget he's only 20 in the summer.

Honestly thought he was older!! He looks hungry for goals when he plays.

Bear in mind there are 14 goals for Cork to date in three hurling league games this season.

They scored 13 across 3 league campaigns from 2017-19.

Unreal to see how ruthless we are. Roll on Limerick.

There was no analysis done on the Cork Westmeath game tonight on the Sunday game. The result was a foregone conclusion but still would have liked them to discuss the game as a matter of respect.

I hope we get a chance to relegate them.

How can anybody call this stuff a 'game or even sport'?
More like a massacre of the innocent. Dreadful and nobody should mention it in a sports programme.

Hopefully last years season ticket holders will be in with a shout. I won’t hold my breath I imagine tickets for the boys first

Not a hope I'd say. Everyone is back to square one now, there's no current holders of a season ticket. Holding one in the past will count for nothing I'd reckon

Dubs lead at ht 8 v 6. All of our points from frees by Orla Finn. Dublin seem too content to foul and I'm surprised the ref hasn't taken action yet, he should have really.

Sadhbh O'Leary really is an outstanding talent, fast, strong and seriously direct, unlucky not to get a goal or two.

Cork really struggling on their kickouts.

Penalty gets us to 4 behind with 9 left.

    3-09 v 3-13

    Dublin down to 14

    Ft Cork 4-11 v Dublin 3-15

Outstanding game by 2 spperiously impressive teams.

7 second half goals, Hannah Tyrell got around 2-07 for Dublin, great player.

Kelly could have scored with 2 minutes to go to level it, from straight in front of the posts and Finn hit the post a minute later.

Second yellow for Dublin just before the final whistle, their fouling stats must have been fairly bad as it was a clear tactic throughout the game.

Dublin conceded 25 free kicks, Cork 22...

Great performance by both teams, a great credit to the sport...the quality of football was unreal.

Good start by Cork, went 4 v 1 up but conceeded a pen, so 1-01 v 0-04 after 10 minutes.

Corkery at 5 looks totally gassed already, no turn of speed at all.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,425 ✭✭✭The White Feather

Hit the post twice from frees!

A few passes going astray. The one time we go long, it is to 1 Cork man being marked by 2 Claremen. You would have to wonder about the footballing brain of some players.
Way too many hand passing between the 2 45's Some direct ball into space for the forwards to run onto is needed, justclike what Clare are doing.

Not a good style of football at all.

Connolly with a nice pass in, foward runs onto it, gets fouled, we score. It's a simple game. 1-05 v 0-08 after 25

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,425 ✭✭✭The White Feather

O'Mahony is on fire since he came on

Deane sends in a ball now, foward runs onto it, Cork score. It's as if they were told at the water break to change it up a bit.

    Ht Cork 0-12 v 1-08 Clare

Interesting game. Straight after the water break, we kick passed more into the forwards, scored 4 or 5 points in an 8 or 9 minute period.

Went back to the slow passing game and Clare came back into it.

    A win, 1-18 v 0-22

Not enough, scoring difference going against us.

69 minutes gone and Deane orchestrating possession to go backwards, despite us needing a 2 or 3 more points at that stage, how the sideline didn't keep the team updated, I dont know.

Red card was a silly one to puck up and certainly aided Clare who were beginning to tire.

Poor game. Cork are going nowhere that's for sure.

Some good performances from the game itself but don’t think the three games warranted a semi final. Couldn’t see us giving Mayo a good game.
