My first thought was she sounds extremely happy about it! Understandable getting annoyed if you have to listen to 100 days of it.

I'd say that a number of listeners have used the fact that it is some sort of a collective initiative to help motivate them in to continuing with it when a lot of January resolutions would have fallen by the wayside by now.

Given the health benefits and she being a Dr, I'm not surprised she is pleased with that thought.

*Non-practicing, so technically not anymore. Important point.

Waste of time if you ask me, How many people back in the Newstalk studios to make sure the show goes out?

If she was in the studio as well, you'd be complaining that she was setting a bad example.

I think it works in that it enforces the message of social distancing.

Has she invited all of the members of the traveling community to Greystones?

Did Pat broadcast from home last week? It's something they will have to look at. Anyway I think she is the strongest when the show is about medical issues and I think her programme works well at the moment.

Then you better avoid it because you don't want to come into contact with anyone who doesn't live exactly like you. It might make you a bit more broad minded and you you really wouldn't want to catch that virus.

But she was in beside Gilroy giving out about people going to cheltenham and social distancing only two days ago.
Why wasnt she in with him last monday or tuesday morning making the same point????

How do you know someone is infected?

    They'll tell you.

She's working while she has Coronavirus, how is ANYONE having a go at her for sharing her experience with this?!

Sorry I'm not her biggest fan, I imagine her home is full of mirrors.

It only reflects badly on posters themselves. I would describe it as irrational dislike or hatred. Irrational being the main word.

I don't agree with her on lots of things but she's been great on this.

Also, I think it's admirable she's planning on going to go back working as a doctor while the crisis is ongoing. Here she is with this rotten illness and already thinking about how she can help others. Like her or not, she is doing good.

Sounds like she was a community transmission case...

She is not my cup of tea but fair play to her for telling people she caught the virus, what her symptoms were and for continuing to work.

She is obviously knowledgeable and passionate about this subject and to keep broadcasting when she is sick is commendable.

    She has a flu.

It's not like she came on and said she's got the clap.

Yes I listen more to her lately because she is fairly factual on Corona. I'm not a fan of call in shows but at this time it's working well.

    No, she doesn't.

    No, she doesn't.

    Type of flu. whatever.

It's not something to be ashamed of

I wouldn't be a big fan either, but she doesn't have to be criticised for absolutely everything she does.

If she goes back to being a doctor does that mean she will (temporarily) leave the radio show...
