Thousands of doctors and medical scientists are involved a vast global conspiracy to conceal the dangers of vaccines and not one whistle-blower yet.

That could be possible to some degree just like thousands of Catholic Priests around the world helped cover up child abuse.

You mean the Catholic child abuse everyone knows about?

We sat again for an hour and a half discussing maps and figures and always getting back to that most damnable creation of the perverted ingenuity of man - the County of Tyrone.

Being anti vaccine is a symptom of living in a comfortable society. In the developing world, they are crying out for them for their sick children. They don't have the luxury of getting to believe conspiracy theories.

The "vaxtards" work on a variation of the premise the IRA used to put forward.

"Vaccines need to be 100% safe and successful every time, we only need one that isn't to look like we're right"

"Vaxtard" = someone who is skeptical of the motives of the major pharmaceutical companies all of which happen to be convicted Felons in the Untied States but hey we should take everything they say at face value and those Doctors who have financial connections to them.

Yes but thousands of Catholic Priests helped cover up child abuse around the world.

You were called on an outright lie about FDA influence on other regulatory authorities. Your posting history shows more interest in arguing against the harm Cocaine does than the PROVEN lifesaving benefit of vaccines and you question the credentials and integrity of several MILLION university educated doctors all of whom stress the vital importance of vaccination.

You can be critical of pharmaceutical company ethics and still recognise that their products save lives and have eradicated, or made manageable, diseases which killed less than a century ago.

Millions, there are 25 million doctors on the planet.

Exactly, they have the luxury of the protection the rest of us provide by being vaccinated, a luxury that failed my cousin who was killed by an easily preventable disease that is making a comeback because of anti-vaxers.

Its not a lie but an obvious truth. The FDA leads the rest of the world the same way the federal reserve effects the worlds financial markets.

"FDA approved" is the holy grail for any medical product that wants to be successful around the world.

Once a product gets "FDA approval" more often than not other medical regulatory authorities will also rubber stamp it for approval.

As for Cocaine what are you talking about ?

None of this is evidence, or even true. The EU and the US have completely different attitudes to regulation and licencing.

It is an outright Lie. The European medicines authority has no crossover with the FDA..

You have about 20 posts arguing to legalise cocaine in your posting history, get your priorities right.

Whistle-blowers in any industry are very thin on the ground.

I don't remember any bankers coming forward in the mid 2000s to warn us that the banks had over lended.

This quote has a lot of truth to it.

    https://www.livescience.com/65304-smallpox.html

Smallpox is a debilitating and occasionally fatal disease that's highly contagious. Prior to 1980, the disease killed 3 out of every 10 people who became infected, according to the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. Overall, smallpox caused the deaths of hundreds of millions of people before it was eradicated, said Dr. Aaron Glatt, an infectious disease specialist and epidemiologist at South Nassau Communities Hospital in New York.

One of mankinds greatest achievements is the eradication of smallpox. The lives saved and amount of terrible suffering avoided really is some achievement.

    Did I say crossover ?

    But a major indirect influence.

Anyway what is your point ?

Its not just the FDA that receive funding from the pharmaceutical industry and have Doctors who move between the industry and regulatory agencies.

I would have serious doubts about all regulatory agencies in terms of conflict of interest and impartiality.

If a company's procedures etc., are good enough to get FDA approval, they are likely to also be approved by EU bodies (It is rumoured that the FDA are typically more critical in non USA factories as they are not concerned about employment etc.)

There are also some differences between the standards used by the FDA and other regulatory bodies that mean in order to qualify for all standards extremely high standards are required.

So because one has issues, you're dismissing all of them because it doesn't suit your anti-vaxxer agenda? I'm only surprised that it took you this long to be honest.

You obviously know very little about the pharmaceutical industry if you don't know that the FDA has major influence around the world.

A lot of Pharma companies in Europe and Asia will go the FDA first so they can launch their product around the world.

If you have any doubt about this simply look up any prescription medication you or your family have ever taking and more likely than not it was "FDA approved".

I work opposite specific regulators. Every error, no matter how insignificant, is escalated to the top and reported to them, there are entire departments dedicated to the detection of these errors and breaches, because the national regulators have zero tolerance, it's their mandate, they can and do strip licenses.

You aren't arguing from reality, you are arguing from your own faulty interpretation of the world stuffed to the brim with your selection bias and lazy generalizations

Who said I was anti vax ?

Is that how you win a debate shout "anti vax" and claim you have won the debate.

I just call into any question the impartiality of these regulatory bodies when there are clear conflicts of interest.

Its common sense follow the money.

FDA approval means being able to sell in the USA, a huge market that allows advertising of many drugs.

FDA approval isn't easily obtained. I worked for a company that had two production facilities, only one building had FDA approval. They either never saw any need to get FDA approval or knew that they could not reach the required standard in the other building even though it had EU approval.

I'm not doing your research for you. Since you've openly dismissed anything that contravenes the anti-vaxxer agenda then I'm going to have to ask for proof.

    "Anti Vaxxer agenda" yawn.

What did I say about Vaccines in this thread ?

Name calling is the clearest sign you have lost the argument.

You might as well call me a "racist" while your at it.
