    Randy please tell us we can take these as legitimate! I need. Also can someone please confirm what the # symbol means. It's on veterinary for the first time and I think it means that there's something additional to CAO points is it????

    Didn't they require two weeks of work experience before starting the course this year, if so wouldn't that be it?

    Last time I saw it was on qualifax and meant not everybody on those points were offered a place OR they needed to submit something (portfolio or interview)
    Im not sure though

    The symbol # before a cut-off point means that selection tests additional to the Leaving Certificate were used (i.e entrance tests, auditions, portfolios etc). In these cases, applicants who were successful in their tests were then ranked in order of their Leaving Certificate points.

    * Not all on this points score were offered places.
    # Test / Interview / Portfolio / Audition
    AQA All qualified applicants
    v New competition for available places

    They look legit tbh, can't be any other year coz this is the first year uneven points for courses generally.

    @daraghwal
    "Special Entry Requirement: Undergraduate students applying through the CAO system will be required to demonstrate that they have acquired at least two weeks practical experience relevant to animal handling or veterinary practice."

    That's what the # refers to.

    We did. I was hoping that was all the # was about. Anyone who applied was told in June that their work experience passed/didn't pass the requirement.
