Agreed, if he can get rid of Del Boy in 4 or 5 rounds I'd be well impressed.

Hmm kinda impressed is all. It’s the bare minimum really. Parker would have been a better fight for him I feel.

I can see it being a difficult night for him. I wasn’t awfully impressed with Usyk’s first night out at hw

No he was very average , If he fights like that against Derek he would actually lose,

    What?

He fought to suit what was in front of him.

You cannot take that show and use it v Chisora...

Usyk is a horrible style for a fat plodder..even a bad night for him and still he wins easily!

Usyk was just poor that night,
    Certainly wasn't his usual self,

Yes on paper Usyk is horrible for Derek but he still has to go beat him

    And he will. With ease!

    He should with ease,
Remember same was said about AJ V Ruiz one,

Usyk will batter Delboy, Delboy is absolutely terrible, if pople think that giving whyte a hard fight show him to be decent, they shoud wake up and smell the coffee. Whyte is terrible too.

By the way look at this motley crew

    Yeh yeh...

    Upsets happen...

Barring a fluke KO, he has 0 chance to win...

    He is useless!

Don't think anyone is saying Del Boy will win just wondering how impressive Usyk will be after looking less than impressive last time out and how and when can he get him out.

Bad fighters can make others look better than they are.
Just look at last weekends fight.
And sometimes they can drag you down to their level.
True test for Uysk at heavyweight will be when he fights someone good.
Then again they all have their faults.

I think it’s quite obvious nobody is saying Del wins...

One poster did say he’d lose...If he “performs” like he did on his HW debut...

This back and forth debate is more to do with some thinking it may be a good test, competitive fight, a barometer for Usyk...

It’s none of the above. It’s a complete mismatch between a very good CW who has moved up vs. an over-the-hill has-been plodder, who was never much use to begin with..

He has more chance than Del has against Usyk!!!

I am just wondering what are DelBoy's skills...

    Is he tall? No
Is he fit and strong? No
Does he have good stamina? No
Does he have one punch power? No
Does he have good boxing skills? No
Does he have good footwork? No
Does he have a long reach? No
Does he have a good jab? No
Does he have good chin? Not bad.

He's basically world rnked because he can take a bit of punishment. Terrible state of heavyweights.
His chin isn't iron either as Haye and Whyte proved.
I just dont understand why he is now PPV worthy.

I don’t think these upcoming fights go ahead...

Surprised to see Olympic qualifiers are on now in London..

We have 13 strong team at it..

Derek is basically just pig ignorant and will really make guys work for a win , He will just try to march forward and pressure you ,
I think he is perfect for what he is a gate keeper, If you cant beat him you don't deserve the big fights ,

as you say he got stopped by Haye and Whyte who can both punch a bit so it'll be interesting to see can Usyk get him out of there ,

We all know who the better boxer is the question with Usyk is just about his size in the division can he handel bigger guys,
Derek will be 17 1/2 stone even if he trouble Usyk early just with his size it won't be a good sign for things to come down the round about with the real big men ,

I like the fight as a build up to better ones, we all expect Usyk to win its just in what fashion that's interesting to me anyway ,

Klitchsko and Wilder probably he's best. 28 title defences between them until they met the furious one.
