Outside of the top three, the Ring ratings at HW are embarrassing...

    Same across several other weights...

It really is ridiculous that they are putting this on Box Office.
Who in their right mind is going to fork out €25 to see the fight?

    I'd Pay To View :D

Just saw the KO Kownacki left himself very open. Supposedly doing the tidier work but that was a shocking way to march onto a shot against a big strong swinger like Helenius

Kownacki was a KO waiting to happen. Bad defence with no head movement.

I agree. Poor condition too no excuse for it.

All these PPVs are a bit much. I hope DAZN start to tie up some of these rights as they launch.

    I’m not paying for that.

Kell Brook-Frankie Gavin is still the benchmark for disgracefulness for PPV..

In pure boxing skills yes, but the purpose of the fight is to see if Uysk can handle a big powerful man , who has plenty of fight in him ,

Chisora could make it a wretched night or he could get taken apart ,

I'm really interested in this one, Chisora is no world beater but he rarely takes a beating without dishing some back he can be a right stubborn , Real gauge of where Uysk is a heavy weight ,

Chisora is muck....that is all there is to it here.

He will get beaten up and stopped....too slow, ponderous, old, stale and everything else...

Having plenty of "fight" won't matter a damn to Usyk, because he will be beating Chisora up up all night...

Chisora has a good chin and can bang. Pretty much only the elites have beaten him and he has caused them trouble. He most likely won't win but we'll get a good idea of where Usyk is at.

Yes he is not elite but he has a chance against any none elite heavy weight, He pushed Whyte all the way , second fight he was up on the cards when he was stopped, Whyte is probably next of the rest after the big 3

Uysk may beat him with ease but if he does that a huge statement, Who was the last person who beat Chisora with ease ?

I think its great introduction for Uysk to the heavy weights ,

Kabayel beat Chisora with ease despite the close cards which were very generous to Chisora.

Think Usyk is all wrong for Chisora personally. Far too quick and agile for him. A southpaw with great footwork is literally his worst nightmare.

Kabayel fight Chisora was a mess he said so himself many times,
After that he decided to get himself together and live and train properly,

I agree with the second part , but the big questions still remains does Usyk have the size an power he will need at the weight ,

I think he will win but if he blows Chisora away i'll be impressed

Gassiev is a bigger puncher than Chisora imo and Usyk turned into the puncher in that fight mainly due to his footwork and ability to counter. There are numerous levels between Usyk and Chisora imo. He's fought guys who stand in front of him and make him look good of late and it's put blinkers on people.

There is 3 and half stone difference between Gassiev and Derek

I know Uysk is the better boxer by a mile ,
I know Chisora is limited ,
My intrest is in how Uysk deals with the size of Derek ,
Can Derek use it on him ?
Is Usyk boxing skills good enough to keep a much bigger man off him ,
Will he hit hard enough to get Derek respect ?

Uysk didn't look great last time out ,

    ,

Delboy is 6"1, Usyk is 6"3.
Fury and AJ are big men, Delboy is not.

If he wasn't so fat he should be 220-230lbs max

It’ll tell us where Usyk is as a heavyweight if anything, Chisora is a decent first test for him, the only way Del Boy troubles him is if he makes it a war, which Usyk won’t let happen.

Let’s be real. Usyk is at HW to be number 1...

It won’t tell us anything, other than him being able to beat an old, past his best, never much use to begin with, plodder!

Usyk at 200 lbs would walk rings around Chisora...Usyk from his CW era beats Chisora easily!!

So, this fight tells us nothing!!!

  • Registered Users Posts: 55,192 ✭✭✭✭walshb

Actually, it will tell us this...that IF Usyk can’t beat Chisora very comprehensively, then he’s not all that much use as a HW!!!

Agreed, that what we want to find out

I can see it being a difficult night for him. I wasn’t awfully impressed with Usyk’s first night out at hw

Agreed, if he can get rid of Del Boy in 4 or 5 rounds I'd be well impressed.
