Did Alex Thompson not go to Methody? Maybe I'm thinking of a different bloke

He definitely won the schools the cup with methody, and was in the academy for a while I think. Looked quite good for Ireland u20's, but just didn't push on.

Tom O'Reilly would be Templeogue College anyway.

Always liked him as a player - has been quality for years. Garryowens answer to Gerry Hurley

He played at banbridge acc then Methody then Queens. I could be wrong here and out of line but I heard his attitude stopped him getting picked up by some ulster clubs.

    Hope im wrong.

Attitude often quoted in Ulster and Leinster of players when it is sometimes others attitudes which are the cause.

IRFU should have made call earlier than this and provincial branches or the IRFU itself should be making call for all other games to be played this weekend

Wonder when all games will be refixed for. I assume next week or weekend after?

Youd think next weekend. Would clash with the Ireland game but weekend after is Paddy's day and a game so next week would probably be preferable.

Yeah you would assume it would be. And the 3 weekends after paddys weekend are final 3 rounds of the league.

Clubs agreement on when to play or Irish Universities playing this weekend and Trinity have quite a few in that squad.

Ah yes, the latter makes sense

I heard it was the date given to the clubs. Dont think it was agreed by the clubs.

our game on 19th as trinity have players involved with irish university/college team week before, on the monday due to munster v ulster game the thursday before , which will affect availability of players for munster teams,

trinity v lansdowen which was due following friday has been moved to saturday,

junior cup quarter final now on easter sunday, first time i recall us playing a league game on a monday, think that leaves thursday the only day we havent played a league game on - open to correction on that.

going to be very hard to beat trinity they have beat us all three times we played them since the came up all close games won late on, hopefully we get a win and keep our interest in making top 4 alive,
