Saw too many comments on twitter about people's experiences with the 'rugby elite' (many absolutely abhorrent) that makes me look at these folks with suspicion nowadays.

ive a sister who works as a free lance tv producer , shes dealt with plenty in the small fishbowl of irish " celebrity "

granted she only dealt with BOD the once but she said he was a total gentlemen

she was very impressed by phily mc mahon , described him as super focused , no small talk , very business like

Both McElroy and McDowell live and work in the US and have done for a number of years, obviously the accent is going to change somewhat. Now the planeloads who went on long weekend shopping trips to the US and came back with New Yaark accents, thats a different story altogether.

The problem with Dawkins is that his 'New Atheism' led to similar dogmatic crap that he was denouncing people for. Then we say Atheism + emerge, as well as Pharyngula...

You can be pro-science, pro-atheism, and not be a jerk.

Then Dawkins started deliberately trolling to get attention... and it just seemed...tired.

Also, for a scientist... he's a terrible writer.

She didn't even write her own songs. Mike Batt, who wrote 'Bright Eyes' and 'Better than a Dream', to name a few, wrote her tracks.

Including '9 millions bicycles', 'Closest thing to crazy', among other songs on her albums.

I think that's why she faded from view. Without Mike, she had nothing really going for her.
