    You're some bollix :D

Have to wait until after the Leinster game to start the build up thread

Ah Jaysus lads. Cop on a bit. Munster sent a scratch team to Ravenhill and came away with a BP. That's a decent result. If they lose then next two with the first XV, then maybe we can have a conversation. But let's wait until then.

It’s not panic stations, but Munsters away record under VG makes poor reading. You’re right though about the strength in depth comparisons being unfair. That being said Munster are definitely the second best in that department and should be doing better.

He's conditioning Munster players to under perform when away from home in anticipation of the World Cup.

Munster have plenty of depth. What's with the whingin. The issue is the depth at 10.
It's nobody's fault they continue to play Hanrahan!
VanGrann is accountable. Injuries also factor into depth.
Munster are not immune to the injury bug.
Munster have 3 international wingers! They have the best 9 in the world. Good depth in center.
They have a very strong pack and the back ups are very good.
It's possible that the entire coaching staff is inept?

Depth implies more than one of the players is actually any good. They have lots of 10s but Keatley, JJ or Bleyendaal simply aren't going to win you a Euro cup (which I assume must be the goal).

Why Bill Johnson isn't being looked at yet I don't know.

Johnston is third in the depth chart by the looks of things so he'll get plenty match time this season.

And he could easily become 2nd by the end of the season if he avoids injury between now and then.

Jj was good in the 1st half. He was composed and looked in control.
He lost the plot at the beginning of the 2nd half. He seems to make a mistake and then loses himself afterwards. It may be something mental for him.
He can't seem to pick himself up after bad plays.

Games in any venue usually open 2 hours before kick off. For big games can be earlier. So should be around 3pm

That early? Hmm, might have to change the plans so.

Anyone any tickets spare for the Leinster game? My brother is home for Christmas. Huge fan. My husband was to get tickets for him but a contact let him down. PM if any spare of any description.

That's because Connacht fans hate Losing to Leinster while Munster fans have gotten more used to it

Careful, they'll accuse you of crappy moderating. They have a habit of doing that recently, a mod is basically a ref.

Sure what else would you expect from the new ladyboys?

They must have waited for St Stephen's Day to announce this.. :P https://twitter.com/Munsterrugby/status/1077998001006788608?s=19

That's great for him, he was likely to be holding tackle bags otherwise. Unfortunately he's been bypassed by the likes of Coombes and Nash.

No, it probably means that Leinster are taking another Connacht player again ;)

Blunt and completely lacking humour or guile. There's only one troll worth their salt on these forums, and buddy, you ain't it.

    Squad Update
The Munster squad returned to training at the High Performance Centre in Limerick today ahead of Saturday’s Guinness PRO14 Interpro derby against Leinster at a sold-out Thomond Park.
There were no new injuries reported following the Guinness PRO14 Round 11 game against Ulster at Kingspan.

Prop Brian Scott underwent surgery last week for a foot injury sustained while playing for his club side Cork Constitution. He will now begin his rehabilitation with the medical department, with an expected return-to-play time frame of 4-6 months.

James Hart (knee), Rhys Marshall (hamstring) and Chris Farrell (thigh) will reintegrate to team training this week.

The following are progressing with rehabilitation: James Cronin (leg), Jack O’Donoghue (knee), Dave O’Callaghan (foot).

On a contract front, Stephen Fitzgerald linked up with Connacht this week after signing a three-month loan deal with the western province.

That's awful news for Brian Scott. By the looks of it at worst he'll be back for the start of next season which will be crucial for him.

Getting Marshall and Farrell back soon is big news. Hart will be handy for squad depth during the 6N but I don't see him getting ahead of Cronin.

This is a very interesting read about squad sizes with a focus on Munster. Would have sworn Leinster had a bigger squad

Howdy Munster heads. I come in peace.

Just wondering where would be the best place to park for the match tonight? I’m driving up and back to it.

If you haven't left now and are coming from Leinster I'd park in town and walk out. You'll get away much faster. LIT likely to be full early
