Your completely wrong. I followed Gamergate pretty closely. I even gave the Gamergaters the benefit of the doubt, but the whole thing started due to Zoe Quinn's ex posting about there relationship online, and then some people made a claim from that post that Quinn slept with a reporter from Kotaku for a favourable review. Ultimately, this was proven to be bull****. That was the inciting event for the whole thing.

The whole thing quickly descended into a hate mob going after Quinn and other Women. Now, the gaming media didn't help themselves having a go at all gamers, as opposed to the idiots doing the harrassing, which was a spectacular own goal.

Ultimately Gamergate, was really really ****ing stupid bull****, and that anyone involved with should hopefully feel embarrsed about. It basically boiled own to some people not being willing to share there toys.

How do a minority turn it into a movement about misogyny? Go to r/KotakuInAction, which is the main GG hub, and show me some proof that even a minority of these people hate women. You'll be doing well if you do, because I can't think of another place on the internet with more reasonable people.

Erm I had to Google that to confirm, I can honestly say that's rather amusing. I have no problem with all neo nazis being covered in glitter to claim that it bears some relation to acid attacks is ridiculous... Racist thugs being covered in glitter is a delightful and harmless idea. Poor Spencer, he's such a fragile snowflake.

never claimed any relation outside theyre both throwing something. was just asking 20cents opinion, which hopefully he will provide. I'll admit it is funny but would it not be better served to just debate the twat, his entire ideology is flawed, why concede the argument by resorting to violence and petty stuff like glitter?

There's video of him being kicked out of the cab and he says it himself. On a phone in a rural area can't find it for you but its one of the first vids that come up. His youtube channel is channel is called altright mostly consists if him in his moms house complaining.

This is exactly my point. KiA is anti-SJW in a reasonable manner, but they got drowned out during GamerGate by the assholes who were sending death and rape threats by DM on Twitter. They needed to publicly denounce those people as quickly as possible at the start - without doing so, they doomed themselves to the same guilt by association that feminists experience because of SJWs.
