@NintendoAmerica were CC'ed on a lot of replies, so hopefully that gives them a kick up the arse.

Microsoft are the only ones with free cloud saves. Sony requires you to have a PS sub.

Good. They need a backup solution in this day and age. Behind the times they are.

If that were to happen to me and I had a lot of hours worked into a game, i would just want to sell the Switch :(

Tbh, cancer of the stomach is awful, losing all your saves is just very annoying

He has loads of game saves as well. Going by NVC he seems to but every or nearly every indie game and plays them enough to comment

I live in fear of this happening to me. Not sure I could start Zelda again from scratch, as brilliant an all as it is.
Whatever about Virtual Console and online play, this should be number 1 priority for Nintendo.

You can still backup your saves on PS4 without +, having no way to backup saves on a portable is ridiculous

Not to the cloud though which I was referring to.

But on Switch you can't even backup to sd card which you could do on the Wii.

Honestly think he just gives a back of the box opinion of most games he is playing, get that vibe from NVC bar Peer now. 'Blossom Tales is like Link to the Past' really? Who'd have guessed.

Yes no cloud save is hard to forgive. I can't find it anymore but I think I read somewhere that the paying online service will include it, but not at launch!

I really like Brian. Comes across as very passionate and knowledgeable about games. And is pretty funny too. Him and the Gamescoop cast are my favourite ign staff. Never miss a podcast.

Yeah same, I like Brian too. The Brap-brap stuff used to bug the s**t out of me, though!

    Got a switch.
Why can't I change my background or add a theme or something ?
Such a basic concept...is this really not a thing on Switch ?

To each their own but I couldn’t care less about wallpapers.

I prefer a clear and neat design which is non-customisable to something customisable but messy (for exemple, looking at phone messaging apps, there is some UI customisation in WhatsApp but no matter the settings it looks uglier and messier than iMessage of Facebook Messenger to me).

I'm talking about themes like on the 3DS or the PS4

I'm sure they'll come in the future. I like the clean uncluttered interface of the Switch though. To reach, their own I guess...

I currently have a Kirby theme on my N3DS, it's awful, I'm too lazy to change it though.
The clean light or dark theme on the Switch is perfect for me though.
Probably most people on this forum would change their background to "Cloud Saves Now!", "Down with this sort of thing!" and, of course, "Careful Now"

Mine is MGS3 Snake Eater. It's awesome, especially when the music kicks in

I'm about 3 hours in. It's good but not very challenging. It's funny characters is keeping me playing.

Near the end it starts to challenge a little, never felt pressure though. It’s a little like the early tiger woods where if there’s a hard put you can just chip it in and forget about it.

Was a delight from start to finish though. Would buy DLC or a sequel no questions.

I traded in a bunch of old stuff and got a switch to add to my Nintendo collection. I got Mario oydessy as well which seems cool. I'm kind of feeling there's not a lot of games for me out there yet, I'm working through botw on the WII U and I played Doom and Skyrim to death. I'll definitely get xenoblade 2 at least, just missed out on Argos's deal. I love the form factor, definitely easier on my old man eyes than the 3DS or Vita.

Sad day today, after managing to keep the Switch on the main telly since Christmas, my son requested to it be moved into the other sitting room the kids have the Xbox and wii set up in.

Good he wants to to play on it, bad that I have to move off my bum to play on tv now.

Oh well, give me an easy life and a peaceful death.

Nobunaga's Ambition. It's a grand strategy game set in feudal Japan. It has already been released in Japan on the Switch and I'm nearly sure it was on that original Switch poster showing upcoming games.

Has anyone heard about a western release? I can't find anything online.
