My time is yet to be uploaded. I got a wrong turn en route and thought i was on stocking lane when i wasn't quite and then i thought i was not on stocking lane when i was*. Either way it will be a brutal time.

Lost my shimano camera descending the Sally gap too which has soured my mood. Stopping in greystones for a coffee and then of home

18:23 for me, 1:10 down on my pb from last august...in my defence i'm prob 3kg heavier now!

That aside, on days like today, cycling up round there really is a pleasure. I went on up to the border and the view is absolutely gorgeous, snow still on the mountains and me in a single layer sweating. Fantastic.

Plenty of people about as well

Great day today. 30 seconds away from my PR and not even in my top 3 and that's with the slingshot around the roundabout and missing the steep part at the start but I'm happy with my time giving how **** my year has been so far. Hopefully not 5 years till the next one.

Lovely spin with the lads up to kippure after it in perfect conditions. Even a MOD turned up. I always thought they were retired police men who just had read up on cycling 😉

36 people have cycled it so far today - how many were boardsies? 9 so far...

i made it up howth, village side, today in 8:31. given the climb above is nearly twice as long and marginally steeper, i'm guessing i'd be happy with a time under 20 minutes.

16.37 for me. First time going up it so can't be too displeased. Think I could have knocked 30 seconds off that time too, but no higher on the leaderboard.

On Strava you can filter on the boards club and today only for the segment, there are 14 people on it so far.
Most are using their real names though...so not as easy to tell who is who by username...

My Garmin has it down as a balmy 19 degrees today. I was wrapped up for 8-12. But I can now confirm the Sportful Fiandre NoRain Light is a wonderful alternative to a gilet.

I had my Bryton with me too, and that was reading at 22 degrees at one point. Now I imagine it was a bit cooler than both estimated, but whatever gods it takes to worship to have this weather for the next 6-7 Months, let me know.

In doing this today. I went from hating climbing to finding it okay and flip flopped between the two. However, I'm still not too keen on descending. On the one hand, I love the speed, but I also realise I have family and friends who'd like me to arrive home in one piece.
