As usual the NFL Free Agency day is a 1,000,000x more exciting than the Soccer Transfer Deadline Sky Sports always tries to hype up

Anyone know this guy? He looks like a twat so I'm skeptical.

How dare you call me a twat
I challenge you to a duel sir.....

    Ron Leary to broncos
If Romo lands there wait for Terrance Williams to pop up in the mile high city

Tony Jefferson going to Ravens despite Browns offering more money

    Romo sweepstakes takes another turn
Cowboys now looking to trade Tony instead of a release
Called it yesterday re trade before the NFL site called release
So in the past week they've said
We'll trade him to redskins for the #2 draft pick
    We'll release him
We'll trade him to broncos or Texans

    NFL writers haven't a clue

It's just a game, the Cowboys are hoping snag a pick for him but they'll have to release him if nobody bites. If a team thinks they have little chance of signing Romo in FA then they will bite but if Romo has a good agent then everybody has been contacted and told that Romo is interested and nobody is going to offer anything.

    Oh agreed for sure
But maybe teams got spooked by Cutler's released and are thought Jesus we don't want to end up with him .... if Romo costs us a fourth or fifth rounder so be it

We'd eat the 19 this season free up 5 but it's 20+ m free space in 18 to pay Zach Martin and maybe improve elsewhere before we need to pay Dak, Zeke, lael Collins and Byron Jones in future years

I still think he'll end up being released as trading him means they have to take the full cap hit this year rather then spreading it out over 2 years. And what are they really going to get given his age and injury profile and with only 2 teams in the market for him. A 4th or 5th round pick?

We don't have a fifth so if we could squeeze one for Tony or trade 20 for 28 I'd be happy ...

We can still do a June 1 release if we don't get a pick but we should try to get something for him

I agree he'll not be in silver and blue but we've got to see how this plays out

Calais Campbell to the Jags for 60m over 4 years with 30m guaranteed

    For a 30 year old, that's a bit mad.

Their defence was already really good last year against the pass, should be spooky now. Pity for them they still have Bortles.

I'm pretty sure i could throw 35 TDS behind that browns O-Line they are building.

    GO BROWNS!

Nick Perry resigned 5 year 60m. Cue injury riddled season again. Jc tretter heading to Browns and teddy is off fishing for the rest of the day

The Texans give Cleveland a 2nd round pick for them to take Osweiler from them. Unbelievable!

Romo to Houston must be a cert now surely?

  • Registered Users Posts: 946 ✭✭✭Silver-Tiger

Are they just buying a pick here?

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,671 ✭✭✭ScummyMan

Essentially just buying that second round pick, the Texans are getting rid of that massive contract

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,719 ✭✭✭JaMarcusHustle

    Full trade:

    Houston get 4th round pick.

Cleveland get Osweiler, 2nd round pick, 6th round pick.

Odweiler to the browns and a second round draft pick in 2018

So do the Browns cut Osweiler and take the cap penalty or keep him?
