Fast and loose and McGregor may win it in four rounds catching Mayweather with enough stinging punches, if it goes the distance Floyd will win as he's a dancer eloquently able to put on a show given the opportunity he hits a lot of body shots which pile up the points on the score card.

The big difference between the pressers for this fight and all the others is conors opponent is 100% unfazed and seems to be enjoying it!

No! But this is irrelevant to the point, I like the guy, I just wanted to know what the pc Generation thought, who cry homophobia or racism at the drop of a hat. Mayweather is the scumbag imo

Edit that was the anti Conor crowd went quiet.
All the uproar was from people who never liked Conor in the first place.

There was no slag. He was having obvious trouble remembering the film, and he really thought there was a dancing monkey, or monkeys, in the flashy gym that Rocky trains in before the first Clubber Lang fight.

    Here's the exact quote:
"Rocky III? I'm trying to think which one was Rocky III...that was the one where they had the mad celebrity gym...there's a monkey...the dancing monkeys in the gym and all...that was where he's in the...yeah..."

Then when Apollo is getting Rocky ready for the second fight, he brings him back to basics, no distractions, to a grim concrete gym in a backstreet alley. It's the complete opposite of a celebrity gym. People are trying to say that McGregor is talking about this gym, as if he would just casually refer to the black boxers in this gym as 'dancing monkeys' like it was nothing.

Mayweather said Conor called black people monkeys. Then the next day Mayweather's anonymous spokesman told TMZ that Conor called Mayweather himself a monkey. TMZ say they 'were told' (we don't know by who) that it occurred off-mic in the ring. The press are repeating it, even RTE, journal.ie, independent, not just the tabloids. When they bother to quote what he said, they don't even get the words right. Considering it was 36 hours ago, I don't think it's getting much attention (fortunately).

I assume that Mayweather is saying it to hype the fight. I'd love to know if Conor's side are onboard with it as well, it if its all part of the game, or they view it as a step too far. I think its a bad thing to be accused of. The stuff that he actually does come out with is sexist, and borderline racist, but he knows where the line is.

And I'll completely forget his 3 UFC losses via tap out.
Do you hold Floyd amateur losses against him? I would imagine not. It'd be ridiculous right.
Conor's two early submission losses were essentially an amateur stage of his career.
At that point he had been training MMA only a short while and was a white belt. A white belt getting submitted means nothing.

Boxing has a much different amateur/pro infrastructure to MMA. Especially 5-10 years ago in Ireland. They are simply two different sports.
But at the same time, he has also had a few poor performances as well.

He's still pretty much in his prime as a fighter, and he has 3 submission losses on his record already...

(that's 3 times he would have been choked unconscious in a street fight, if there was no referee to intervene)
Which poor performances? Are you just refine to losses on his record or fight s you've seen?

It's pretty common for young fighters who don't have a grappling background to pick up sub losses early in their career. It's really no reflection on his ability as a fighter today.
A record is a record of results. Not a comparative score.

You can just pick the winner, if that's what you want to bet on. If you put 10 on McGregor, and he wins, you get about 70 back including your ten. If you put ten on Mayweather, and he wins, you get about 12 back, including your ten.

Turkeys, then monkeys about 10 seconds later. The two Italian American looking fellas with hilariously large Jaws.

The amazing thing about McGregor is that he's now so obnoxious (and boring to be honest) that he seems to be making people root for Mayweather which is some achievement considering how much of a scumbag Mayweather is.

I watched a Conor interview with Buncy the other day when all the madness was over. Just a plain simple interview. No fancy sh1t, and yet Conor still was unable to just speak normally without this odd need or belief that he has to eff and blind..

I was looking for and hoping for some style and manners and normalcy. I don't think the chap realises that he'd come across far better and far more impressively if he just got rid of that forced obnoxiousness. I blame his management and advisers. Surely someone with a bit of influence sees what I do?

It obviously appeals to a certain section of society.

You can still be cool and assured and authoritative, and even a "bad boy" without the gutter talk and chav approach.

And let's say he can't lose it. Ok, then at least tone it down and don't make it appear that you're really forcing it.

If he wasn't as obnoxious he wouldn't be as rich. He knows what people want. The guy is a business genius imo.

It's how he has always spoken. You ask for normalcy and then complain when you actually have it!?

Would you prefer if he put on a fake D4 accent?

Tbh your posts make you come across as if you have an issue with him being working class.

This is not a "class" thing..

I would consider myself "working class."

Plenty of working class folks don't go out of their way to sound obnoxious.

Regarding normalcy? Yes...with Conor this obnoxiousness seems to have a forced and contrived element to it.
