Or Mayweather & Showtime are driving the event

There's no need to promote it Ireland which is why they're not promoting it in Ireland.

I wonder after these past 4 days of clearly staged BS do they still believe it?

    Well, fellas?

I think if anything the last few days have shown us that despite all the language and staged hatred between the two of them they don't dislike each other at all. Only the same type of people that watch wrestling will be buying any of the rubbish they served up.

Also thought using the "fa g g ot" insult was pathetic.

True And/Or Mayweather would never step foot in Ireland beside McGregor for fear of the slating. How many contract stipulations does he have on McGregor i wonder? The more you hear about the detail the more you see that Mayweather is afraid that anything outside of a boxing contest will make him look like a fool

Mayweather young 40. Fed 35 Venus 37. Mayweather has no miles on the clock. This will be a funny fight as long as it go's. Both win and its a good night for all who pay. Fair play to both.

Mayweather is playing up his age thing too. Saying he is't the fighter he was and the training is tough etc etc

Floyd is as fresh as a daisy.
Noticeable even after 5 mins of talking who is the fresher of the 2.
Conor will be gassed after 3 rounds of trying to hit Floyd.
Floyd ,( while Conor has been swinging at air )
has been finding out what Conor is about.
Floyd will then finish him in the 4th.
I'd even go to say Floyd will finish him with his first sustained offensive.

Ali was the best at selling a fight. It's the same today. I agree. But this fight sells itself. No need for a presser this will sell. This is just nonsense. Conor will lose we all know that. Conor would not beat a amateur boxer. 4 oz gloves 10 oz golves. He wont lay a glove on floyd. Floyd will just toy with him and stop in 7-9. But fair play to both great stuff.

Both lads repeating the same five lines all week. More creativity and originality in the priests sermon at Sunday mass. The desks in the ring were right out of the Vince McMahon play book. At least that nonsense is done with

Yes Conor knows that he can't beat Floyd at Boxing. Dana knows it, His line is "I stopped doubting this kid a long time ago". Ellerby knows it his line is "Well Horn just beat Pacquiao anything can happen" Floyd know it but he's not going to say Conor has no chance because the more idiots who believe he has a chance, the more will buy the fight.

These guys shared a private jet from NY to London, I'll bet they are actually friendly in private, they are business partners in this money making sharade.

I know you said you aren't from Ireland, so maybe English isn't your first language, but no one said that.

Have a look again, actually Im nearly sure it was you :pac:

    Who possibly thinks that,
I didnt see these posts but like has been said a thousand times he wont win just like Mayweather wouldnt win in the cage.
The only thing that can be said is perhaps its possible he can go the distance if he stands off but I cant see him even doing that

I've seen plenty on Ali, my comment is fair and accurate. Just you have your rose tinted glasses on. For his time, he dished out plenty of insults, trash talk and polarised people.

It was just as hot for Mayweather and he didn't look like he was breathing heavy. I think if McGregor lasts a single round it will be a miracle. Don't get me wrong i'd like to see him beat the woman beater badly but i think people are reading way too much into this "Mayweather is 40 years old" thing. I'd say if Mayweather was 50 he'd still wipe the floor with McGregor.

Exactly. Floyd is playing the game. This not the same fighter as 10, 5, 2 years ago is nonsense. Yes he is 40 but he takes extremely good care of his body, always stays near fight weight, trains every day, doesn't drink or smoke and has barely taken any hits in his career, The last person to really hit him was Maidana, and even that didn't have any lasting effect. His age is a non-factor, I predict he will KO Conor inside the first 3 rounds.

The world police on social media will love that one.

It wouldn't surprise me if Floyd makes his own appearance in Dublin before the fight.

It was me, and I never said he was to blame for any murders. Perhaps you need to look again. I got a yellow for it because it was off topic, so if you want to read it and come back to me you can PM me. Not dragging the thread any further off course because you have weak reading comprehension.

    Ok, so you've seen plenty...

Clear then that you haven't the foggiest clue. Either that or too obtuse to see the differences...

Did he turn up in the Philippines unexpected before the Pacquiao fight?

The differences are you are looking back on a different era with different social norms. Ali was as outspoken in his time as these two are now and cause just as much controversy with his comments to promote a fight.

So get off your high horse before you fall

    Conor on points
Ali was one of the most iconic people that have lived on this earth . He changed a lot for America in it's most troubled time and will be remembered a long long time after his death

    These 2 fellas are clowns

Clowns at the moment. One is a great boxer the other a great mma fighter. They are just selling a stupid fight. I think they would have been better off doing nothing and just leave it to the fight. Its just really pathetic. Mayweather must be hard up for money getting involved in this ****e. Don't blame Conor as it's the most money he will ever make. And fair play to him.

As Ali go's he done the same to an extent and some of it was nasty stuff. The stuff with Frazier went way to far and it tainted ali for me. Frazier was a complete warrior and he never forgave ali and i dont blame him.
