The major problem with printing a nonsense story like this is that when an actual story of merit comes out, the Trump administration will be able to brush it off by correctly claiming that the media are always publishing bs stories about the Donald and so the real news will end up being most likely being ignored.

Yeah, this feels like little more then a pathetic attempt to litterally and figuratively piss all over Trumps inauguration by a bitter bunch of libtards over at buzzfeed, seriously, buzzfeed FFS.
Besides, since the most famous woman in the world has launched her career off the back of a sex tape I do have to wonder how big a scandal it can be in this modern age? If the report was complete BS then Trump, Obama and 6 other high ranking senators wouldn't have been briefed on it, it wouldn't be being investigated by the FBI and I sincerely doubt someone like McCain would put his career on the line for what amounts to a BS report.

I'm sure there's a report out there that high ranking senators, Obama and Trump have been briefed on but there is absolutely nothing to suggest it's the one that has been published by Buzzfeed. You're adding 2 and 2 together and getting 22 which is exactly what Buzzfeed want you to do.

He spent the entire campaign making claims about HC, Bill Clinton etc without any actual proof, so its a bit late to now be claiming that only 100% verified facts should be published by anybody

It's different, Comey signed off on the email investigation reopening and the letter was intended for public viewing.

If the document leaked is the same one Trump/Obama were shown it still shouldn't be made public, it's not verified. The problem is it contains slander.

I'm not sure you if think I'm defending Trump here. I'd like to clarify that I'm not. I think the guy is a grade A asshat but using unverifiable and most likely false information to smear somebody is the lowest of the low, no matter who the target is. I don't really care if we're living in a post truth world. I think it's important to call bullshít on stories like this, even if you somehow think it may benefit which ever side of the political spectrum you choose to stick your flag in.

However I was arguing on the coverage of CNN etc. Which is how it should be done.

In my view, this is a non story until such time as proof can be shown. Does it highlight a potential area of concern, yer, but for those that are tasked with that sort of stuff. There is simply no need for this to be made public at this time.

This is hilarious, if its true then he really is the idiot he appears to be.
