Saw them there last time, but will never go back to that dump again.
Guns or not, it's just not worth the grief.

2 main talking points ie Irish gig

hopefully we will know monday once and for all, sum laugh if GNR wasant actually playing any of these venues lol

UK dates are being kept very secret, imagine they may be 2/3 of them

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,656 ✭✭✭✭Mushy

Would assume London Manchester Glasgow for UK. Olympic Stadium is being used, and that can only be used until end of June/early July cos of athletics stuff.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,467 ✭✭✭✭PTH2009

Know it won't happen but I'd love 2 Irish shows (PUC Cork and Slane/Croke Park) as the band have been/will be playing multiple venues in same countries (New Zealand similar size to Ireland ???)

It's all getting rather tiresome at this stage, I'm laid off work so have **** all to do but research dates lol

I hope its not bloody Slane!! Nearly got stranded there last time back in '92.

Daily mail today says Croke Park gig will be announced on Monday. Might be worth joining online fanclub to nab presale tickets..

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,956 ✭✭✭✭MisterAnarchy

If they play Croke Park I'd imagine it could be two nights.

You have to pay to join the fanclub BTW

Really?? Do you think they'd sell 2 nights

    Yes I do.

The tour is all about raking in as much money as possible, they have saturated certain markets.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,663 ✭✭✭✭Mental Mickey

I doubt they'll sell out two nights? One definitely, but not two.

Well we will know tomorrow by looking at the schedule.
If they announce a Friday or Sunday night and there are free days around it, the Saturday will be added later.

A 2 night stint here could be on the cards if they don't announce a big UK tour and only play 2 nights in London. A lot of UK fans may travel over here to see them if they don't play places like Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham etc

With Coldplay only getting 1 date here I'm not sure ???

I'd imagine that they will play gigs in London, Manchester, Glasgow and maybe Cardiff.

I just had a thought lads n lassies.

What if they completely throw us off and announce a gig in the Aviva???

Once there's a date I won't mind. Any venue talk has been merely speculation so far, with none more likely than another.

Wonder how much the tickets will cost? Aerosmith are doing a farewell tour and those tickets START at 89.50 ffs. The GNR tickets will be mega expensive I'd say.....?

Madrid is tempting...... flights would probably work out the same as the bus to slane.

    Yeah. I just got mine.

Would the code still work for other European venues? Or just local ones to your location?

As far as I know it works at all locations. Max 4 tickets per gig.

Just went and did it. Not happy bout Slane, getting out will be a bitch, but it'll be a great gig.

I mean no Manchester, Glasgow or Cardiff. Or Belfast for that matter.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,467 ✭✭✭✭PTH2009

    London tickets sorted

    E337 for 2 Level 1 seated tickets

I know its more expensive than Slane but id enjoy a stadium show more than a field show

    Slane will rock no doubt

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 229 ✭✭villa2008

Anybody have a nightrain pre-sale code for Slane??

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,378 ✭✭✭mojesius

Bollocks. This clashes with my wedding day.

Although slane is a bitch to get out of.

    Thinking happy thoughts.
