West wind here that would shave ya, only the odd shower of sleet and hail and nothing sticking yet the place is flooded, way worse than normal rain.

A nice breeze building up atm. A few showers but they're short so far, thankfully.

Cows out for the night anyway, dry field with plenty of shade from 3 directions.

Wet all day here with a freezing cold strong southerly wind.
Cows were out till 12 and had to bring them in. Stuck in the ditch.

Out here all day, well, out until a corner stake broke and they wandered into the feeding passages.

I hope it isn't too wet, have the hedgecutter coming tomorrow to tidy up a few sections so I can see my badgers:(

Young lad to be playing in Carlow on Sunday. What's the weather like for then?

Your best bet is to follow Alan O Reilly of Carlow weather on Twitter.
    https://mobile.twitter.com/carlowweather

You can take it as a given wet and windy.

Ah it's a good day when you can get your hedge cut so you can see your badgers. :p
I'd say the wife is thrilled..

Day is not actually too bad here. Not much rain overnight and stock out again.

I hear Alan O Reilly of Carlow Weather of ^^above on the local radio news bulletin about the weather. Another time it'd be Met Eireann. ME are either thrilled or fuming at losing work. I see he's been given the use of a car to promote that car brand. And people say talking about the weather doesn't pay the bills..

Just back from the man cutting now, lots of activity by the feckers and spotted a new sett dug as well. I've a feeling I'll be locked up again this year:(

I'll be haunting the Dept this spring until the come to take them out:mad:

On the plus side, the tractor isn't causing much damage, except in on spot where there is water lying.

This morning was alright, but it's wild out west now. White tops in the bay, strong winds, and persistant rain. The head might finally be taken from the street light across the road with the way it's wobbling.

Another complete let down of a “storm”, the well meteorologists need a dressing down.

How did you make that out? I’d prefer to be forewarned and if it’s comes well and good. Ciara is still well out.

Orange wind warning issued for the whole country from 5am to 12.

    Be careful out there, folks.
