    But fibre's good for you.

And, nah Eoin, didn't expect it but usually someone would've pointed out they were available.

Must give Dysmantle a go, I know a few folks on here have been singing it's praises.

I was away and missed the PS subscription sale a few weeks ago. Is there anywhere (reliable) online that I can purchase the 12 month extra subscription at a discount?

  • Registered Users Posts: 29,566 ✭✭✭✭Zero-Cool

Snowrunner is well worth a go. Don't think it's my cuppa as i rage quit on my 2nd delivery, completely my fault, drive across the map before realising I never attached a trailer to my rig so couldn't pick up the supplies :) Enjoyed my little time with it, might go back to it. Biggest complaint is the pick up truck feeling like you're driving on ice even on normal tarmac conditions.

I got that too. It's a controller setting, it's default to set to react to physics under "controller", so doesn't auto-recenter, and as a result you end up overcompensating. Changed it to the normal way for racing games, or "wheel" in this game, and while I had a lot more control I feel like it wasn't how it was supposed to be played. Can see it's wheel compatible... I'll give it another go soon, but Techtonica is taking all my time right now.

I'll give Dreams a shot - it looks interesting. And Deaths Door - looks like an old style dungeon puzzler similar to the classic zeldas. Not bothered about golf games unless its Neo Turf Masters.

Have Dreams but haven't opened it.

But at least this should now result in more creations coming out in future.

Neo Turf Masters... and a Wonderboy avatar pic too. A man who appreciates the classics! 😁😎

There was 1 arcade machine in the back of a chip shop near my house in the 90s. Wonderboy. As tough as it was addictive. Those were the days. 👍

Can't wait to take a swing at the old golf!

    I'll show myself out 😅

  • Registered Users Posts: 29,566 ✭✭✭✭Zero-Cool

Isn't pga 2k23 basically The Golf Club 3 after 2k bought out the devs? So we might actually get The Boards Golf Society back up and running??

  • Registered Users Posts: 13,853 ✭✭✭✭Potential-Monke

Depends, if it's following the route of most other sports games and trying to make it realistic to the point of not enjoyable/too complicated I'm out! But I'll give it a spin anyway. Happy with Deaths Door, been waiting for that. And for those who have a PSVR1, Dreams works in it (and is supposed to be better for it). I bought it when it came out but never really got into it. It's a creators game, and it allowed me to realise I don't really like games where I've to make my own fun.

PGA 2K23 is very enjoyable I picked it up for€20 a few months back from Smyth's. I like to play through the career mode and you can set the difficulty to be as easy or hard as you want.

I looked it up and you can do an online society like the golf club games. We had a brilliant laugh on golf club 2 with our boards society. Set a course and conditions and give people a few days to complete it and enter their score. It becomes like a league on who is doing the best. I'm not big into golf but found it a great laugh so will definitely be looking to do the same with this.

    From HotUkDeals:

Death's Door is excellent. It's basically Zelda with a tiny bit of Dark Souls thrown in.

    Sounds good to me.

Death's Door is brilliant. A gem that not many know of.

Does Dreams have a proper Developer created game to go along with the user created stuff or is it solely user generated stuff?
