Yep, there's no point to this match at all. I'd keep them out of the ring completely until Summerslam, have them do promos or whatever. Make the match seem special.

    Didn't expect Lesner

Maybe getting in as many apperences as he can before he leaves for good after mania

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 41,102 ✭✭✭✭PTH2009

Lesner will leave WWE if he doesn't retain at Summerslam

Happy to see Lesnar gone. To call him one dimensional would be a compliment.

One theory for a shield reunion at Summerslam would be for Rollins and Ambrose too win the tag titles and then they will help Reigns win the world title

I just can't get into 205 now with Aries gone

I'd miss Heyman, Lesnar can sod off. Unless they do a thing where Heyman's like "If MY CLIENT loses" and then at Summerslam he switches his client, like in 2002 when he switched from Lesnar to Big Show.

That's the third time the audience has had their city insulted now. Vince must really hate Pittsburgh.

New intro to Rollins' theme is laughably bad.

So Brock is heading back to the UFC after Jon Jones called him out at the weekend and he is going to lie down and put Roman over.

Or he won't lie down for anyone and as was said so many time there is no Champions advantage in a fatal 4 way.

They will take the title off him without him being pinned so when he returns in a year they can start the I wasn't pinned feud.

Anyway whatever happens Roman walks out champ.

I don't know how any fan could want Lesnar to leave. He's one of the few legit intimidating guys around these days. If he were to leave my interest would plummet. Personally I'd much rather watch a ten minute segment of Brock standing there than listen to most of the promos which bore me to tears. Brock is also one of the few guys that doesn't have to engage in hokey stuff or use verbiage that no person would use in real life, with all the 'WWE Universe', 'sports entertainment' marketing speak.

    Please retain, Brock.

Braun Strowman has already surpassed him in nearly every way for me. Much bigger, much more dangerous and a hell of a lot better on the mic. I've always been a Lesnar mark but I won't miss him if he goes, and that goes for Heyman too. Both of them have been operating on a level below their capabilities since Brock signed his last contract IMO. Heyman and Strowman together could be absolute magic though if they wanted to set up a betrayal.

Yeah, Strowman and Joe fill any gap he leaves.

Six months of training to get into *fight shape for a fight with Jon Jones that would draw huge PPV numbers and money that would be a huge incentive.

*and to get the roids out of his system this time :pac:

They could also just give some more guys the license they give Brock to break from the hokey. But apparently you can only do things that get you over, if you're already over, and you're over largely from stuff you've done outside of pro wrestling. #wweLogic

Brock's just boring at this point. Matches with him are more often than not just endless suplexing, followed by not seeing him for weeks or months. He doesn't add anything for me right now.

I literally would not miss brock at all if he left

Anyone have a feeling Big Show will turn on Enzo and join with Cass

He's been phoning it in for a while. The last match he cared about was Reigns like 2 years ago. His match with Joe just sucked & tried to be hard hitting but he's just lazy.

A heel turn....it has been a while. They are really playing up Enzo as being annoying mind.

Those cringey pre-recorded promos from Reigns, Strowman and Joe have a whack of this about them....

Brawn = Brock, except Brawn is there every week.

So they talk about the triple threat as being a PPV main event level match and it doesn't even main event Raw?
How many people do you think turned over to Raw for the last 30 mins or so to see the main event only to see Big vs Big?

    Raw2016Logo-500x281.jpg

Live in Canada eh, also if anyone has seen the latest Being The Elite, several WWE superstars had cameos.

But anyways I digress, enough plugging The Young Bucks and their YouTube series.

    2 weeks away from Summerslam..

Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman to face off in a Last Man Standing Match tonight on Raw

With less than three weeks to go until they clash in a Fatal 4-Way Match with the Universal Championship on the line at SummerSlam, it has been announced that Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman will continue their epic rivalry when they compete in a Last Man Standing Match tonight on Raw.

The personal history between Reigns and Strowman is well-known, as they have already competed in several brutal encounters, including their Ambulance Match last month at WWE Great Balls of Fire. What will happen when these two Superstars have to inflict enough damage onto one another to keep them down for a count of 10 and be declared the victor of the Last Man Standing Match? And what impact will this have on the looming Universal Title Match at The Biggest Event of Summer?

    Bayley’s future to be determined
Sasha rumoured to be challenging Alexa
Bayley’s Raw Women’s Championship opportunity against Alexa Bliss is in jeopardy after suffering an injury to her right shoulder during her match against Nia Jax.

According to WWE medical personnel, the extent of the injury has yet to be determined due to swelling in and around the injured area. A conclusive diagnosis will be made today in Toronto, but based on what we have seen, it doesn’t seem likey that The Huggable One will be getting back into the ring anytime soon.

If Bayley is unable to compete at SummerSlam, who will challenge the so-called “Goddess of WWE” for her coveted championship? Hopefully, details will emerge on Raw.

Does Rollins truly have Ambrose’s back?
After Seth Rollins defeated Sheamus in singles action, The Kingslayer fell victim to a 2-on-1 beatdown by the Raw Tag Team Champions, and was ultimately assisted by Dean Ambrose, who ate a Brogue Kick in the process.

But don’t mistake The Lunatic Fringe’s actions for friendship. Ambrose made it clear that he only helped Rollins even the odds against Cesaro & Sheamus so he wouldn’t look like “the jerk,” and that Rollins wouldn’t return the favor if their roles were reversed. Will Rollins have the chance to prove his loyalty on Raw?

The Hardys’ fury has been awoken
After defeating Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson this past Monday night, The Hardy Boyz got the better of both the “good brothers” and The Revival in a three-team melee. In a WWE.com interview following the brawl, Matt & Jeff Hardy referred to an “awakening” within them that will propel them to the Raw Tag Team Titles.

Does a Raw Tag Team Championship opportunity await The Hardy Boyz in the near future?

How will Wyatt respond to Bálor’s mind games?
Bray Wyatt is a master of psychological warfare (https://i2.wp.com/www.duperrin.com/english/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/shutterstock_389240095.jpg?fit=1000%2C667), but Finn Bálor has a trick or two up his sleeve as well. During The Eater of Worlds’ diatribe in which he boasted about hitting the Irishman with Sister Abigail the previous week, Bálor appeared in the ring from the darkness to ambush Wyatt, then sent the sinister Superstar tumbling out of the ring and up the ramp in retreat. However Wyatt responds tonight, it won’t be subtle.

So he's Woken Matt Hardy now?

Why are they doing a last man standing match? There's no way for both guys to come out looking strong, unless Roman drops the entire arena on Braun for the win only for Braun to climb out of the rubble not long after.

If it was to finish the feud I'd understand them having a last man standing match, but it isn't a feud ending match.

And aren't Last Man Standing and Ambulance match pretty much the same rules? Beat your opponent to the point they can't answer the count of 10/get out of the ambulance/stop the casket lid closing/stop themselves from being buried alive. Though maybe that's too much of a generalisation. It's not like they went from a street fight to an extreme rules match to a no DQ match.

All that Broken Matt stuff lost it's sizzle a long time ago. They had to strike that iron while it was hot.
