So are you guys happy with your decisions to buy the OnePlus 3? The reason I ask is I need to buy a new phone after my LG G3 broke, and at the moment the OnePlus 3 looks like the main contender.

Take your pick from what's available on OnePlus.net.
I've got the sandstone one which is a familiar feel to me from my days with the OPO.
There's also 3rd party cases from the likes of Otterbox.

Anyone using their with android auto? I can't seem to use the phone function of android auto and I need to go to the cars own phone screen instead. It's not showing any details of the call bar duration in android auto which is strange. Only phone I've had an issue with on that front. Any ideas?

If you existing phone has a 'do-not-disturb' app (eg Moto g) either disable it before you copy your old phone to the oneplus3 on start up or don't use that facility on start up.

It's making the phone very difficult to use, and the level of customer support is embarrassingly bad (eg Me: my OS has upgraded to 3.2.1, it hasn't fixed the problem; Their response: what is your OS?).

I am considering returning it :mad:

Why don't you just factory restore it and skip the option to import from existing device during setup then install your apps manually?
Considering returning it for this reason seems overkill to me.

I tried that, the problem persists. There's a long thread about it on oneplus, loads of users having the same problem.

This is a really bad bug. They're trying to shrug off hiding DND from stock by saying you don't need it with the slider as they would interfere with each other. Apple devices have both and they work fine. If I forget to use the slider at night, I won't hear my alarm at 5.30 next morning.

I'm currently trying to find a work around. As I don't want to reset the phone at this stage.

If you go to Settings > sound and notification > app notification and in the top right menu select reset app notifications, it will reset the the original DND schedule to default which I think is OFF.

Are you saying the alarm won't sound with the slider off I thought it simply a silent switch like the iPhone?

When this problem occurs the alarm doesn't sound until you flick the switch to silent and back again. Makes the phone completely unreliable as an alarm as I have to remember to toggle the switch ever night after 11.

I did manage to get a workaround of sorts using tasker. I had to set up a timed event for 11.01pm that sets DND to none and turns on all volume options. Even media has to be turned on. Alarm, email and calendar now work but text messages are still silent until I toggle the switch.

Just an update. I found that if you put the DND slider into the middle position, it overrides all software settings allowing priority notifications. I set pretty much everything to priority meaning my alarms etc now work. It won't help those who want to schedule the do not disturb feature.

It would charge no problem but not at dash charge speeds.

Anyone finding the Orzly glass screen protector not fully sitting down on the screen?
Think it's the glue they use as mine is lifting on the left side on it's own and I had to re-seat it more than once.

Have another so will try that but bummed as it looked like it fitted so well at the start.

Anybody have an issue with the launcher where it disappears and you can't get back into it without a restart? It happened a few times to me so I switched over to Nova Prime but it's after happening to Nova as well. Basically it won't let me back to my home screen but I can still cycle through recent apps etc.

It's pretty annoying.

As yet no problem with the Google Now launcher.

If changing up the functionality of the profile slider to be ring --> vibrate --> silent sounds like something you'd wanna do, instructions can be found below

I just put mine on there and I think the otterbox might get to it after a while. My dbrand should he here soon though so that should mean I can go back to a less heavy case most of the time.

Yep I think your right, as the protector sits a little too close to the edge so the Otterbox may be clamping it in day to day use pushing it up.

First one only lasted a week or so.... Gonna use my 2nd and be hunting more types as it's disappointing I cant use the Orzly and Otterbox combined.

Very same happened me. Had to lose the screen protector as my clear Orzly case was pushing the screen protector up off the screen. Disappointed because it had looked ideal when it went on in the first place!

Which orzly clear case was that? I ordered the fusion bumper case this morning to try out. I found the black apricot one plus case was catching the screen protector a little too.

Noticing one or two glitches but over all very impressed with the phone. Great value.

Have people noticed that if you press the power button to just view notifications/time, the screen won't turn off unless you press the power button again. Could be just me. Small annoyance but one nonetheless
