Friday night, after the Ireland game and a feed of Harp:

    Location: The bedroom chez awec
The scene: Mrs awec is in bed, awec is getting ready
The clincher: Awec emerges from the bathroom clutching a pipette as pictured by sullivlo, with the romantic line of "fancy a duffin luv"?

No you're having what Venjur would call a WHOOOSH moment.

Did you miss the first time awec shared his inner fantasist with us?

I actually believe that "fancy a duffin luv" is actually a valid chat up line in Lurgan.

Still doesn't beat the perfect chat up line which got me my current missus....

"How would you like to be buried with our ones"

    This is true.

I keep thinking today is Thursday (due to the squad announcement)

    I'll go back and edit.

Very good, you should start posting in the creative writing forum or something.

    Love all 3
Season 2 of Community is probably my favorite season of anything ever- it is extremely Meta though, which some people don't like and maybe not suited if you're distracted at gym. Season 4 of Community is horrendous as they had sacked Dan Harmon (i recommend "Rick and Morty" as well actually)

Season 1 of Parks and Rec is horrendous, season 2 is good but from season 3 on it is like a conveyer belt of great episodes

IASIP is as good as people say - probably ideal for being on the bike at gym

I also recommend Legit, only 2 seasons with Jim Jeffries but it is very funny

Wasn't Harmon sacked because he fell out with Chevy Chase? Chase is brilliant in Community but by all accounts is a pretty awful human being.

Harmon has been sacked multiple times (Sarah Silverman refused to work with him as well). As much as he's loved there's a pattern there. He came across as a bit of a d*ck on that documentary he made.

Didn't know that. Chevy Chase is still supposed to be a gigantic dick though, he's fallen out with pretty much everyone he's ever worked with. Bill Murray actually boxed him at some stage.

I'd say Murray and Chase are two of a kind but Murray is 'eccentric' while Chase is a bollocks because it's been decided that way.

From everything I can see, that's appears to be the way. One of them hit a run of form and made some cult classics in the 90s which cemented their status as a much loved performer and the other is Chevy Chase.

They're both supposedly utter w*nkers to deal with.

Some fairly unsavoury accusations were levelled at Murray by his second wife. I basically have no faith in celebrity anymore. I default assume that they're all total dicks* and it is up to them to prove I am wrong.

Several years working in service industries, bars, hotels and shops, left me with the exact same philosophy for everybody

I'll pass on the image but, as reprehensible a person as I find him, it took serious mettle to stay in the fight that long.

It's a condemnation of Bellew that he couldn't take Haye out in the 5 rounds where he had a damaged achilles.

I never worked in any of those industries so I love everyone. Particularly me.

Not a Haye fan but he's definitely tough. He broke his hand in the middle of the Valuev fight and still managed to win it.
