Gonna start a new half hour comedy show for while I'm on the bike in the gym.

I'm thinking it'll be between Community, It's always Sunny in Philadelphia and Parks and Rec. Anyone got any recommendations between the 3 of them?

They're all good, you can't really make a wrong decision there.

Yeah probably at this stage, no nearby coffee shops have power either, seems to be fairly widespread from Charlemont to Baggot st at least.

    Pfft.

All good coffee shops now adays are steam powered from renewable sources.

Community is the best of those three imo. I'd skip the first season of It's always Sunny in Philadelphia and Parks and Rec. They are terrible at the start for some reason.

    Always Sunny.

Community is very good but very much an out there, acquired taste type of show. IASIP is more accessible even if it is also off the wall in many ways.

Parks and Rec is more akin to The Office in many ways but not as good.

I ****ing wish. I've been trying to get mine****INGcraft running in Ubuntu the last couple of days, but OpenGL is being a prick.

    Aside from that, neither.

    Love all 3
Season 2 of Community is probably my favorite season of anything ever- it is extremely Meta though, which some people don't like and maybe not suited if you're distracted at gym. Season 4 of Community is horrendous as they had sacked Dan Harmon (i recommend "Rick and Morty" as well actually)

Season 1 of Parks and Rec is horrendous, season 2 is good but from season 3 on it is like a conveyer belt of great episodes

IASIP is as good as people say - probably ideal for being on the bike at gym

I also recommend Legit, only 2 seasons with Jim Jeffries but it is very funny

Castastrophe is great as well. Bit obscure to find (prime in uk) and maybe 4od.

Really funny though, and community/rick n morty too.

Actually watch the league. Its about American fantasy football and these guys screwing eachother over to win. Lot of cameos with nfl players too.

Workaholics is great. (Spoiler, they're not actually workaholics)

For those suggesting Rick and Morty that's the one I'm just finishing, absolutely love it and can't wait for season 3 to come out.

Catastrophe is a good shout heard good things about that will add it to the list

The League was great for the first year or two and then became very repetitive, I thought. You knew they were struggling when they decided to have a couple of spin off episodes about minor characters.

They've wrapped it up now but would have been forced to do so probably even if they hadn't been planning to. One of the main characters had been lying about being in one of the towers during 9/11 for years. He claimed he was on an upper floor and just about managed to escape. Used it as a story to launch his comedy career.

If you like Rick and Morty then I'd suggest community again! Dan Harmon created both

International Women's Day. Thought I'd bring a bit of balance and compile a list of things women can't do. Feel free to add to it.

    1. Scratch their balls
    2. The helicopter
    3. Eh...

Was just watching the march from the kitchen in work. Quite the crowd out. All traffic just seems to have haulted. We we're watching an ambulance trying to get down Bachelors Walk for ages.

    Park.
    Take out the bins.
    Fix the heating.
    Cut the grass.
Sleep in a chair when the twins are up all night sick.

    Wait, I've made this personal, haven't I?

Is this that strike to repeal the eight march?

If it's any consolation, my missus is actually a damn good driver and could park in a phone box.

Nobody can ever tell her I said that.

I'll use it all the time, I still have one of the old Ulster Bank debit cards without the nfc chip in it and entering PIN was pissing me off. Was actually going to ring this week for a replacement but this news makes it even better.

    .

awec just an fyi on this, afaik UB replaced all non contactless cards last November with contactless.

I have two cards with them, and one of them was replaced but not the other.

Both non contactless cards were cancelled a couple of months later, but I only discovered this when mine got declined a couple of times. I got onto them on chat and they told me it should have been replaced in November, and sent me out a replacement within a couple of days.
