Bears are very likely to take a QB with 3rd overall pick so Glennon could well be back up again. If the 49ers have a QB deal confirmed as seems inevitable, the Bears are likely to get the pick of QBs in the draft....unless Cleveland decide to go for yet another QB. Rumours are they're gonna stick with RG3 to see if he can stay fit for a year.

By the looks of things Glennon will be a transitional starter until the rookie is ready. Cutler will be released as expected and Hoyer is already gone. There's a lot of optimism with the Bears GM as the draft last year worked out really well (particularly Jordan Howard in the 5th round who finished runner up in rushing yards).

I wonder if Cleveland will avoid taking a high QB this year as he'll be playing with a bad team which could ruin him. That said their cap space is crazy (100m or so) so they have plenty cash to sign free agents.

There are 4 Irish bars facing each other... somewhere... one is the temple bar and they show rugby.

Vivid memories of being the only lad wearing a Leinster top and shouting at the telly louder than the rest of the pub full of Munster tops as Munster came back against Northampton after a billionty phases.

    Jesus f*cking Christ.

Reports this evening that the Browns are taking Osweiler off the Texans along with a 2nd round pick next year in exchange for relieving Houston of that contract.

If confirmed, I don't know which organisation is getting the worse deal here.

The Browns are planning to pay some of Brock's salary this year and then trade him. They have the cap space to do it, I think it's a win for Cleveland.

Cleveland Browns? That's a little too close to Cleveland Shïts.

The new "trip to spain" with Brydon and Coogan.

I can't wait for this. The Italian one was magnificent.

Good call. The first series was not bad but the Italian one I started yesterday is magnificent. I'll be looking out for the Spain one for sure.

    Cheers mfceiling.

Their draft picks for this year and next are outrageous. If they can't make the playoffs in the next 4 years, they should be wound up. They have seven picks in the first two rounds of next two drafts combined including 1st and 12th this year.

Its brilliant. Funnily enough I was in a remote meeting this morning where the exact same thing happened to one of the participants, so its been getting a lot of airtime in the office.

    Really?

    Yep!!

Dinner was ok...I enjoyed mine but wife wasn't fussed.

Service was poor. Wrong desert brought out. Wrong bill brought to table. Correct bill brought and paid then they brought it again and wanted payment!! Waiter spilled a bottle of coke over himself. To be fair they were young and I'll put on my old head here and say that no one under the age of 30 should be working at that game.

Now the show...wow. A live "swing band" playing 5 feet from you is something to behold. Excellent musicians (extra kudos to the young guy with the huge head of frizzy hair playing the sax). They mixed it up with 3 different singers...2 lovely ladies and a man about 70 (john sheridan? ) who was brilliant. Really got the crowd going and had a voice that makes these present day x-factor idiots sound horrendous. He came down after the show and talked to the people there...I had a great chat with him and he says they are delighted that the response is getting better all the time.

The average age of the punters seemed to be fairly old. There were 2 oul ones near the stage who were kicking 80 but were having the time of their life. I suppose with the price approaching 200 quid for dinner, drinks and a show you aren't going to have a younger demographic. Anyway thumbs up from me and thanks again for a great recommendation.

Yep. I enjoyed my food. Missus wasn't pushed on hers but I thought it looked nice. Service was laughable at times but to be fair a young lad with middling English won't be great.

I know. I remember Micheal Winner writing in his Sunday Times column years ago that he sent a waiter back to the kitchen to get a pen and paper to take his order properly. Now I can see what he meant.

I was in Argentina years ago and every waiter was a man in his 50's or 60's. The pride they had in their job was very noticeable and the service was exemplary. No comparison with young students nowadays.

Just a match ball signed by the full Irish squad!!

All photos of the kids have been thrown out and this now takes pride of place on the mantlepiece!!
