Loving the phone, it's very slick. Only bug I've come across is Chrome pages loading a black screen when refreshing - like if I refresh this thread.

Tried to order a new cable and adapter with my €20 credit and free delivery which they gave me for the short delay in delivery of the phone.

It wont let me have the free shipping though - it's only giving me a discount of €8.

    Anyone else had this problem?

does the phone come with the car/cigarette adapter with it or is that extra?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,577 ✭✭✭digitaldr

Extra - includes a cable too.

Read a few pages back, someone ordered on the UK site and only saved a few euro. Literally.

    Sterling has since fallen further.

Anyone that's been tracking their order have you noticed that absolute journey the parcel is taking? Poland, Germany and Belgium so far. I'm hoping its Ireland today because it's due tomorrow!

Most likely being brought to a main distribution centre. Mines been in Poland since Tuesday without movement.

    Poznan for mine.

With all the delays do people think that the take up has been huge and they have been overwhelmed or just bad supply chain

A little from column A and a little from column B I'd imagine.

I guess I must have been very lucky reading all these posts about delivery times:) I ordered last Thursday afternoon at 3pm, got an e-mail on Monday before lunchtime saying it had been dispatched (estimated delivery date was next Monday) but it arrived on Tuesday morning at 9:05am via DHL - I hadn't even got a tracking number from DHL:)

I ordered yesterday afternoon and got an email this morning say it was dispatched - Hopefully get the same luck as you!
No tracking number either though I presume this comes in a separate email does it?

Can't wait to ditch my iPhone.

    No nothing..just an Sku number that's just a bar-code number isn't it.

I had originally received a EU adapter. I contacted support and received a replacement UK adapter. That with my EU charger makes two. Guess what arrived in the post today? Another UK one! Hooray for inefficiency and duplication of orders!

The exact same thing happened to me. My second UK one arrived this morning. Need to buy some more cables now...

Certainly seems like they've caught up on the backlog. Ordered yesterday afternoon and just got a dispatch notification with DHL tracking number. Package showing as having been picked up in Szczecin.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,086 ✭✭✭GustavoFring

I asked about mine again there as it's been showing on the DHL system since Tuesday. They said they haven't received it. The chat with OnePlus said that it's delayed but that it should reach me in time...but they couldn't commit to the delivery date. None the wiser tbh.

Still seem to be shipping accessories fairly quick.
Ordered second dash charge cable, charger and sandstone case on Saturday and they were delivered today.

Weird I was refunded my extra charger as was out of stock

I must got lucky with stock so. :)
Interestingly the dash cable I got is a flat one and not the normal round style that came with phone.

Just a warning for anyone thinking of buying through english site. I tried twice using visa card and neither order went through, but they still took the money for same. Well not exactly taken, but not available to me for 5-7 working days. The customer help has been nothing short of awful, with just regurgitation of same old lines no matter who you speak to. Had anyone else tried order through english site using visa debit card? I have bought from all over the world with it and never encountered an issue.
The customer service is putting me off a phone I really fancy, if my experience of customer care is anything to go by then dread to think what would happen if there was an issue with the phone itself

YEs there is a tin on on the phone it does the job.

The loop app made a big mistake where people picked UK chargers but got a EU one. One Plus have sent us out UK chargers. I ended up with 3 chargers in the end so i am happy.

Have not tried 2 sims yet myself

To be fair, the shadow posting you are seeing is a bank process, happens with all voided payments. Although, you may want to check with your bank, because I know with debit cards, it can sometimes hold for 30 days.
