I had a suit made for me some years back. Best suit I ever had.

Ever have your shoes heeled or repaired?

I had to get a zip fixed on a boot recently.

Would you watch a TV series if it was filmed in your locality even if it was crap?

    I never have

Have you ever gone to a car boot sale?

I think I might have once but not intentionally....it just happened to be where I was.

    Have you ever volunteered anywhere?

I volunteered to put someone's bag on the overhead rack on the train once.

Are you able to sleep while being transported?

Ye especially on trains because the sound is calming

If a transporter like from Star Trek was invented and used widely, how long do you think the "beam me up Scotty" jokes would go on for?

Probably as long as the Jean Luc Picard faceplam memes.

    How is meme pronounced?

I thought it was mem or meh may.

There wouldn't be much to do in space...

Am I sitting in a tin can
    Far above the world
    Planet Earth is blue
And there's nothing I can do

How full is your coin jar?

    It's half way

Would you say it's half full or half empty?

If I was putting something in I'd say half full. If I was taking something out then half empty.

Do you have a steady hand?

Are you any good at staring competitions?

I'm not bad. Have a few trophies for it on the mantelpiece.
The secret is practice. I use a stuffed animal. That thing could stare right back at you for hours.

Are you familiar with the layout of your local church?

Useless, can't keep a straight face.

Have you ever desperately tried thinking about something sad to keep yourself from laughing?

Yes but it doesn't work :)

    Can you hear silence?

    Loud and clear.

Do you find the term 'shíts and giggles' a bit annoying?

I have not come across it until your post, so don't know the context in which it would be said.

Do you ever agree with someone just so they will shut up and go away?

    Frequently with one particular person.

Do you know someone who it drains you to be around them?

Ye sometimes I need to give myself more credit :)

Do you know any couple like the arguing one from Fr Ted? There's a highly strung couple like that near me! I almost tip toe by their house to avoid them :/:)

    None I can think of.

How old were you when you first went outside of the island?

Like on a holiday? I think I was about 5 and it was just over to England.

Have you ever been to Jersey?

    I haven't.

Would you wear a sports jersey other than your own county/team?

    I wouldn't wear a sports jersey.

Is it kind of gutting when someone gives you a gift of a bottle of something you don't drink ?

    No I'd just exchange it.

    Have you ever re-gifted something?

    Have you ever re-gifted something?

I have re-gifted stuff but never alcohol. My sister and her husband are teetotaller's but they regularly receive gifts of whisky from clients. They are generally re-gifted in my direction :)

Are you happy with your current physique?

I'm not in bad shape if I do say so myself.
