Zebo should be cited for that hit on Adeolokun as he scored.

    Nonsense.

So that's why they run it from their 22 Alan.

Should have been another yellow there.

Think there would have been only for the previous one already in the bin. Munster got away with that one.

How exactly was zebo offside tgere?

Should have been another yellow there.

I waxed the replay and still couldn't see any foul play.

As a complete neutral, this game is enjoyable. Has a real ITM-cup feel about it: lots of enthusiasm, a bit of naivety and the odd howler (O'Leary missing touch off a penalty), some individuals standing out. Aki making a bit of hay, but Marmion dropped a bit of a sitter off a lovely break. Munster's 1st try very nice.

Lovely to see rugby played in front of a packed house and a setting sun over Galway.

Now that is a stonewall yellow card.

Bealham did so well to retain possession there.

    Those hands from Bealham!

    Really cynical stuff from Munster.

Really enjoyable game so far. Couldn't possibly call a winner.

What a take Bealham! Catch of the season. From a paid up member of the front row Union. He'll get a lot of slagging down Galway way for that one tonight.

That bitchslap can be heard from Galway to Limerick. Dominated.

I waxed the replay and still couldn't see any foul play.

I personally meant it for what I though was the high tackle.

Regardless, if the ref decides it's a penalty there, it should be a yellow.

As it happens he gives it a phase or two later, which works out the same.

Well connacht 6 up at half time and munster down to 13 men. I know who my money is on.

And a penalty try on the first. Munster will not win with Whitehouse reffing. It all goes back the wrongful yellow of Cronin.

That's a big psychological victory on the brink of half time

Fair play Connacht making full use of the sin bins, they really can pull away now the fatigue has been overcome with adrenalin

    Halftime score

    Connacht 6 - 14 Munster - 14 Ben whitehouse

    An obvious penalty try

It doesn't matter a jot if it's on the first or the tenth. If a try was going to be scored except for foul play then it's a penalty try.

Not Bens fault Cronin continuously scrummaging illegal.

Also that scrum was going very clearly over the try line. Buckley and Bealham having big games

Ah well it's about time connacht got the benefit of a hometown referee. They've been getting the ****ty end of the stick for way too long.

Connacht are showing how to punish a team for indiscipline in a way they definitely wouldn't have a few years ago.

Munster just can't seem to compete fairly, they'll need to change their attitude in the 2nd half or the game is gone for them.

It was 100% a penalty try. I thought that was great referring, very easy to just wait until the 3rd+ penalty before giving it

Great atmosphere at the SG. Shame the sound quality isn't great on TG4.

A really good game to watch

It's very rare that the penalty try is given without any reset. Regardless, it all goes back to the Cronin card. What should have been a Munster penalty became the catalyst for Connacht getting into the game.

And yet, how many times have we see the likes of Garces not give them in internationals? Seem to remember at least one in the Wales match that went unpunished....
