    19. I just can't vote for 17, my fave of all time. 19 was brilliant too though

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,301 ✭✭✭✭gerrybbadd

Ah no! Two brilliant events. How to pick? Well, 17 is most likely one of, if not, the best event ever.

So I'll have to pick 19

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,689 ✭✭✭sky88

19 was great but 17 was the best ever so its 19 by default. it wont go further then the next round.

  • Registered Users Posts: 32,956 ✭✭✭✭Omackeral

We say goodbye to the cream of the crop as we look to find the king of the plop. Our first bout of Round 2 features two overbooked events. Let's see which was worse. First to 3 votes.

I'm taking 8 here. Some good matches on Mania 2000 (apart from the Main event)

Yea going to go with 8 as well. had nothing except flair/macho

    And Bret / Roddy

8 just for Hogan being a ghoulbag.

  • Registered Users Posts: 32,956 ✭✭✭✭Omackeral

WrestleMania 8 and its sh*tty botched run-in hobble on through to the next stage. Perhaps the Hulkster can fare better in this upcoming bout...

6 for me. The early Manias really were just about Hogan weren't they? 29 had some decent undercard matches at least

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,689 ✭✭✭sky88

6 for me it was just hogan/warrior and nothing else

    29 was a solid mania

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,146 ✭✭✭Kankan14

    6.
    Hogan.
    Ghoulbag.

  • Registered Users Posts: 32,956 ✭✭✭✭Omackeral

Hogan's ghouliness reigns supreme again. WrestleMania 6 was pretty much a one match card. Two very different eras square off next. Which sucked more?

    Wrestlemain 2 easily

    i thought 21 was a great event.

  • Moderators, Computer Games Moderators, Music Moderators, Regional Midlands Moderators Posts: 24,124 Mod ✭✭✭✭Angron

2, by a very long distance. Only negatives I recall from 21 were the sumo and diva matches, 2 had a lot more against it.

  • Moderators, Social & Fun Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 51,215 Mod ✭✭✭✭Necro

Has to be 2. The early 20's were really good Manias imo. Again - Hogan in a cage does not an event make - for me at least. Something about the crazy 1980's...

  • Registered Users Posts: 32,956 ✭✭✭✭Omackeral

The Hogan Curse strikes again! We have two memorable main events going head to head next...

Has to be 31. 19 is up there for me as one of the best WMs.

  • Registered Users Posts: 39,679 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

31 as 19 is my second favourite mania behind 17.

  • Moderators, Computer Games Moderators, Music Moderators, Regional Midlands Moderators Posts: 24,124 Mod ✭✭✭✭Angron

    31. Not a bad show, but 19 was better (imo)

Boys, an absolute stinker worthy of the final here...

Can I pick both?? Damn you random draw generator!!! Have to go with XI... Bam Bam was an underrated talent, but a WM main eventer he is not.

  • Moderators, Computer Games Moderators, Music Moderators, Regional Midlands Moderators Posts: 24,124 Mod ✭✭✭✭Angron

In a less cruel world, this would have been the final. Hogan's ego can't beat the NFL player in a main event, 11 gets my vote.

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,301 ✭✭✭✭gerrybbadd

    9 for me

By all accounts both were awful though

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,553 ✭✭✭Blue_Dabadee

I will go with 9, because the main event was booked a lot worse than the main event at 11.

Bam Bam carried LT to a passable celebrity match.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,824 ✭✭✭ShagNastii

    Both terrible.

I'll give it to 11 as 9 at least have a few novelty factors. Vegas, Early outdoors show, in that funny period post Hulkamania.

11 had nothing to get excited about.

One heavy favourite takes the fall here. A couple more contenders do battle next

27 easily for me i think this should win it for me.

  • Moderators, Computer Games Moderators, Music Moderators, Regional Midlands Moderators Posts: 24,124 Mod ✭✭✭✭Angron

    32. Went through the matches last night, and it still pisses me off that that's what we got.

Yeah 27 for me. The whole point of WM 27's main event was to set up 28. I like Miz but he had no business anywhere near the top of the card at WM
