I work at a college as a janitor even though I feel like I'm smarter than most of the people who go there. Sometimes I see an equation written on a blackboard like half an equation and... I just figure it out.
You're quite agile and intelligent for a chair.

Got made redundant last year so decided to get my professional qualifications ( which I am doing in record time) and move back to Dublin. Decided to get a job after Xmas as I was going stir crazy just studying. Now working a job with 1/10 of the pressure, for 2/3 of the hours and double the pay of my last job.

I have an LLB, I'm now an accountant :(

I have no idea how it happened either.

How did you go about that actually? Did it take long?

Something I'd seriously consider myself, if I didn't get the FE1's.

I have been retired for over 17 years. When I did work it was in science related to wildlife and environmental issues. Now I draw a lovely pension, that I paid into for over 35 years, for a living. Cushiest job going.

Every time. Okay, you're ancient, have a nice pension and are dead happy about it. Well done.

Any advice for someone who wants to get into that line of work?

Do you have any experience with visiting supermarkets to search for wet floors without signs around them?

In IT, currently only starting into actual work work, doing design stuff (which I done absolutely nothing of before starting) and am getting a surprising amount of say in how to layout large chunks of my company's main product so I'm happy out with work right now.
