If we could hold them to 130ish itd give us a chance

    Edit: Rain has stopped it

Feels like the bowler's are going underarm and the fielders are made of Teflon.

If the rain relents KOB and Stirling have surely got to open.

    Hypothetical scenario:

The rain stops bangladeshs innings now and we come out and hit 25 off the first two overs ands the rain comes back......are we ahead?

I think there has to be five overs bowled in each innings before there is a result.

I'm hearing 108 off 8 overs needed if we get back out!

Please stop raining. If we can keep them to 125 I can't wait for the chase. I think we can do it.

Chris "Don't Blush Baby" Gayle hit a 12 ball 50 in the BBL this year - I think we may need something similar!

Yes I'm afraid we're gone along with the Dutch. It will then be between Bangladesh and Oman.

Like a 1% chance? Ireland to win the game to remain in the competition.

That's effing ball x. Peed off to say the least. Weather should never come into it. Why the f can you not play in the rain? I'm so disgusted. Pure sham.

Game would be incredibly dangerous in the rain for everyone.

Any changes would need to be in the area of backup days or alternate venues.

Well if theres storms and torential rain there isnt anything that can be done really.

As pointed out earlier the problem lies with a lack of contingency planning if this was to happen.

But perhaps thats exactly was the ICC want

All I wanted was a good chase down in a competitive game and I'm let bitterly disappointed. We will always have Hobart. Good night lads.

You do have to wonder why there was no contingency.

Shocking attitude to the associate teams by the ICC.

I'm sure they'd tell you that the associates should just be happy they even get a chance to qualify, such is their attitude

Ireland and the Dutch should just go home in protest.

Divided loyalties for me today.. :D

I'll be raging if the weather prevents play.

Edit: I spoke wayyyy too soon.
