Has 18% ownership so you's all might know of him by now.

Has started the 2 games and is cheap, that's all I know about the gentleman.

That's the defender I got applying the casual method. I.e highest scoring, cheapest affordable :pac:

Question: I want to switch my captain from Villa to Giovinco (who hasn't played yet), how do I do this?

Edit: You can't switch captains if your original captain has played. A bit pointless then..

Going with 5 DGW players and captaining Diaz of FC Dallas. Urruti seems like another decent captain shout along with Morales of Vancouver.

Which 5 are you going with? I have 3 transfers, but only have Diaz with a dgw. Fc dallas seem like the team in the best form, but aside from Diaz, not sure who there is. Their defence seems in ribbons, with loads of injuries, including the goalkeeper. I have zimmerman, who injured, so might switch him for another defender, but not sure who. Hedges costs a fortune, and loyd hasn't played yet.

Vancouver seem in the next best form. Morales has done well, but think most of his goals have been penalties. Don't know anything about their defenders.

Stick with Dallas, they have another DGW in GW6. So 5 games in next 3 GW's

I've actually 6 DGW players, forgot about Ousted in goals.

Ousted and Morales of Vancouver, Urruti and Diaz(c) of Dallas, De Leon of DC United and Fagundez of New England Revolution.

I sold Piatti to fund Morales. Hope it doesn't backfire!

Brought in Harvey of Vancouver (a defender), and Fagundez of New England. Have 1 more FT, but going to roll it over for GW6. Only leaves me with 3 DGWers, but will see how that goes!

Also have Guillen of FC Dallas, a 4.0m defender. Lots of their defenders are away on international duty, so might start him on the off chance he plays both games.

I never saved team changes before making my transfers, thought I bought in Diaz and captained him.

Bought him alright but Giovinco is my captain again,

Guillen is my 3rd sub with no hope to come on

Saw my skipper scored logged in to see 20pts from 3. Reasonably happy, until I saw yous all getting 40s and 50s

Made 3 changes brought in all dgwk players. Had none so thinking now I should have made two changes last week and two maybe three this week, then at least I'd have had 5 playing today and again later in the week. Ah well!

A nice 9 pointer from Harvey brings me up to 59 from 6. Should still have 8 to go, but that may be 9 or 10, if Guillen or Seitz get another run out (not sure if there's much of a chance of that).

Pretty crazily, I've gone from 152nd to 58th in the world :eek:. Obviously I've no idea what I'm doing, so I figure I'm like the casuals that have been giving out about this year in the main FPL :pac:

Edit: anyone else not blown away by Villa's returns? For someone costing 11m, I think I'd expect a little more. I'll give him 1 more week, but may shift him for the a DGW player if the doesn't do much in GW5.

What does that actually do?

It says no auto subs or captain changes will be made if a substitution or captain change is confirmed.

Surely I'm not able to make subs and change my captain after the deadline, After hitting the manage subs option I can't see the site allowing me to do anything?

I think it's that you can choose which of your subs come in if someone doesn't play.

Yeah I had him too and was equally disappointed. My captain Urruti managed to get 7 points despite no goal contribution. It's a funny old animal.
