1.3c here in West Clare. All the percip is either just north or south of me.

This ALWAYS happens, there must be some sort of snow shield here?

To everyone on smartphones who bemoan the lack of locations... hit the options and tick the REQUEST DESKTOP site option!

You try use the Desktop site on a phone, especially the ones that have small screens.
Interestingly no one has brought up the issue until you decided to argue against a point that hasn't been made. Your really trying hard to troll here aren't you?

How hard is it to post the location anyway?

Clear and starry night here in Dublin, feels bitterly cold out (down to freezing at Dublin Airport). Looking forward to later. :)

Some wet and sleety snow near Limerick City. Not really sticking on the road but the roof of my house is white.

I hate to say this but if only this was a month ago, whatever snow falls by the early morning will soon turn to rain before it clears so any lying snow will be short lived, having said that its the best and only shot of snow we've had all year.

Can anyone predict where that precip over Ulster will head?
Appears to be moving south but with that westerly will it push back out over the Irish Sea?

It will arrive in the Dublin area close to 7 am. Don't wait up ;)

I'm not on a normal clock so that'll be around bed time, but I'll persevere if it means I see a bit of white stuff :)
If it's good enough I'll stroll up 3rock.

Surprisingly windy outside. Precipitation slowly crawling down from Ulster. Not too hopeful re. lying snow but should see a flake or two here on the coast.

Much to my surprise there's a decent covering of snow in East Limerick! It started drifting down at around midnight but I didn't think it would lodge. Stuck my head out the door there because I couldn't warm up in bed and I wanted to see what the night was doing and sure enough, the snow is falling and landing. Fingers crossed my nephews get the day off school tomorrow.
