    Direct with hotel ?

    Through booking.com
If you are using this site, it's worth using either quidco or something equivalent to get some cash back. Quidco are offering 4% cash back, ebates are offering 2%, mrrebates is offering 3%. There are probably other cash back sites out there with different offers.

From what I can see Alvarez has a big problem with Conor. His constant repeating of big boy belt and little boy belt confirms that a previous episode with a sibling or possibly school mate has tainted the way he looks at the world. Conors brash aggressive manner has dragged him back to this period of his life. Also its clear from Eddies facial expressions that he is harboring ill will towards his grandfather, more than likely on his mothers side. This would of stemmed from a past childhood experience where his teddy would of been taken away too aggressively.
So to summarise , Conor is in his head!!!!

Gold, until I got to the grandfather bit I was thinking is this maniac for real.:D

You're forgetting that Alvarez told McGregor to take off his glasses and then McGregor did it. Alvarez has mind control powers...

I think McGregor wins this quite comfortably.... his 2 fights against Diaz will stand to him , this is his easier route to being a double belt holder ....ironically although Alvarez beat RDA, I reckon both him and Khabib pose more questions for McGregor than Alvarez

How many fights does Conor have left on his contract?

comfortably?? I doubt it entirely to be honest. what I would say is conor mcgregors last match showed he can take and roll well with the punches. especially from a longer reach and heavier man, on that particular night. By his own admission the chin can only take so much, could he be sparked by the same logic? 12 weeks between both fights is feck all really.

I think he's been made fight this as he's the cash cow, this may be a mistake for him, how's his foot?? will we ever really know? and also now he's straight
into a cutting phase whilst his body is maybe still recovering??
I'd say if he loses we'll here all sorts of things like this, post fight UFC205 I fear.
If he wins, and I sincerely hope he does, just to rile up the cowboy!! he should
take a big break, in UFC terms, 6 months at least. he's been flying since he arrived post knee surgery.

Having seen the storm of shots eddie laid on dos anjos and still RDA stayed on his feet, flying knee to boot!!! I don't think eddie has half the power he thinks he has. Like McGregor said at the conference, he'll be diving all night or throwing feints.

For me this fight will come down to wither or not Alverze has the correct game plan and can he stick to it as the fight goes on.

In McG vs Diaz 1 Conor had a game plan, this can be seen by reading his corners transcript, but he ignored it.

In McG 2 Conor attacks the lead leg from the start, this is exactly what Conor's corner was telling him to do in the first fight, conor sticks to this plan and mangles Diaz's leg.

So is Alverze gonna come out all guns blazing? Like Aldo swinging? Or will he acknowledge that McG is an excellent striker, a longer fighter and an excellent counter striker and with this in mind he will take his time and look for an opening to pressure McG against the cage or take him down and look to move into the 3rd+round.

There is also the chance Alverze will look to attack the legs, unlike Diaz who plods along and plants that lead leg, McG is all about movement, making angles and being explosive.

Yeah comfortably is the wrong word.....but I still think he wins inside 3 rounds, it won't be a 13 sec knockout or anything like I see going similar to the Mendes fight ........he 'could' lose of course but it's an easier route to holding 2 belts than what he could have faced

While on paper Eddie seems a better match up than Nate for Conor, I would strongly fancy Eddie in a fight against Nate.

People thinking this is some kind of easy match up could be mistaken. Apart from Aldo this is his highest quality opponent imo.

Hotel booked for €490 for 3nights beside Rockefeller Centre called Club Quarters stayed in it before clean, great location & comfy bed :D

    Same as myself.

Glad it's good, it was available, cheap and didn't look like a complete hole so I booked it!

He took Pettis down 6 times. Also unsure of him being a sitting duck by R1 when Conor is the one who has shown cardio problems, not Eddie.

Not trying to **** on Conor before anyone says that, just trying to keep it somewhat balanced.

Does anyone know what personal issue Dana is referring to regarding Conor?

Also I think Conor may be underestimating Eddie. Why is Conor drinking and smoking only 7 weeks out before a fight? Hope he isn't over confident like he was in the first fight against Nate.

Was also hoping to see a more relaxed charismatic Conor, pre-Aldo victory if you will, it is a shame.

RDA was rightly revered for what he was doing at LW, eddie knocked him out. Gonna be a great fight

Conor's latest Instagram post, looks to be out on the town in NYC. Cigarette in hand and a bottle of Grey Goose in the shot. Surprising! Still 6 weeks out I guess.

    It's plausible that it's a ploy.

Hilton Doubletree is about €400 for the 3 nights. Similar looking standard, only a few blocks further south.

Having just been stiffed for $150 more than expected for the ticket, I'm tempted.

    Aaaaaand we have a winner!

Ok, who had 7 weeks in the sweep?

Conor was never out partying and smoking weed before Dillion Danis came around. He's a bad influence on Conor. JK should have a word with Conor and tell him to ditch Danis and hang out with Ido more.

I'd say you are right. A full camp with Ido having input in all areas of training would do McGregor the world of good.
