It would have been Kerry v Waterford if Laois had held out.

And PTH2009 would be predicting a Kerry win!! :D:D

So we're down to the final 4 of division 1

    Waterford vs Limerick
    Clare vs Kilkenny

Waterford struggled vs Wexford in the qfs and if Wexford had not had so many wides then it wud of them getting into the semis. Waterford will not be as bad again and will fight to keep the title. Limerick coming off a fantastic win vs there bogey team Dublin and with the victouris nap lads back they will fancy there chances in the semi. I think Limerick will edge it and will want it more than Waterford. If Limerick were not missing the nap players they would of won division 1b.

With Clare missing so many players through injury it will be hard to see them beat an inform kilkenny team but they will give it everything. Kilkenny to win I think

Limerick vs Kilkenny final for me with Limerick winning

I could certainly see LK beat WD, but no way KK.

Will Davy have someone from his backroom team with a magic notepad out watching the first semi final to get tactical information on Waterford for the championship ???

heard Davy and Donal Og were at the Tipp vs Waterford league game in thurles last month armed with notepads

:0 Ingenious! I knew the two of them would be a cut above all else before based on what I read in the evening echo, but christ such a novel approach to management has left even me spellbound.

And normally I'm cynical about these kinds of things...

90 minutes last week... No goals.

    17 seconds today... A goal!

    You gotta love hurling! :D

Jesus waterford need a free taker

Clare getting away with dragging all over the place

  • Registered Users Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

3 points down at ht. take that after gifting them two goals.

  • Registered Users Posts: 13,331 ✭✭✭✭dastardly00

Much better first half compared to last week anyway! (Although that wouldn't be too hard)

Very enjoyable for the neutral so far.

Just how was that a Waterford free when Cunningham gets hit in the face.

He also released the ball so that couldn't have been called a free either.

this TG4 jingle thing that they play before and after every replay is wrecking my head.

TG4, stop it please - big turn off.

Austin Gleason should get an Oscar for the diving he has done today....

The 16 men of Waterford will be too good today I think

He's spitting blood after that high tackle.

    Some "diving" alright

Think the referee wanted a draw with that equalising free. Didn't get it though.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,723 ✭✭✭pappyodaniel

Well that was nuts! What a finish!

Great finish. Never a free on the equalising point but both sides had incidents go against them over the 70.

Wow! 2 points for the Banner in about 30 seconds?

You see that's exactly why refs cant give soft frees to engineer a draw(and hope its settled by more over a longer period) when there's enough time for that team to then score a winner.

Feel for Waterford, pathetic decision for that equalising free.

The ref gave 4/5 really bad frees today, I cant recall the balance of them but he gave some really soft scores with those decisions.

    Daylight robbery.

    The referee was a disgrace

  • Registered Users Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

God I feel sorry for Gleeson. He was outrageously good today

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,890 ✭✭✭blackcard

Looking forward to the Championship meeting after that, made up for last week

  • Registered Users Posts: 21,208 ✭✭✭✭Mushy

    Some ending there.

Don't think Waterford can feel hard done by, was a huge throw for the pass for the second goal.

  • Registered Users Posts: 243 ✭✭Easca Peasca

Great stuff from the Bannermen. You'd feel for Waterford but there's no prize for being ahead on the 68th.

Poor reffing from start to finish.
